Sirius XM Announces Date For Q2 Conference Call
Sirius XM Satellite Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI) announced that they will conduct their Q2 2011 conference call on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 8:00 AM. Investors and the press can listen to the conference call via the company’s website, siriusxm.com, and on its satellite radio service by tuning to Sirius channel 94 or XM channel 141. The call will also be available on the Sports Nation 2 channel on SiriusXM Internet Radio and through the SiriusXM Internet Radio App for the Apple iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and several BlackBerry and Android-powered smartphones.
We should expect to pass the 52 weeks high of $2.44 this week. As long as the USA does not default!
whats your net new subs guess?
Spencer,
for some reason everyone assumed the date would August 1st. Now follow me here and my facts may be wrong but I thought the 8 billion in NOL’s are able to be transferred starting August 1. Do you think there is any chance at all that Sirius expects a offer to be made on the 1st for their company? the August 2nd CC date would provide them a chance to address the offer. Any company that is interested in Sirius has had years to study a buyout. If a company wants to acquire Sirius why would they delay the offer even one day after the transfer date? The thought being Sirius will not be getting any cheaper after August 1.
