Samsung to Incorporate Sirius XM App Into Televisions
Televisions have become more and more advanced each year, and many new models enable Internet connectivity. Being connected to the Internet allows consumers to get far more use out of the television than just traditional broadcasting. With a connected television consumers can now access content from companies like Netflix and now Sirius XM.
Sirius XM will now have an app on Samsung televisions with more brands and home electronics devices such as DVD players to follow.
Reporting live from the annual shareholder meeting.
Position- Long Sirius XM Radio
God! I have waited a long time for something like this to happen, I always see Netfilx, Pandora, Youtube on all my devices and no Sirius Xm? What took so long?
This company is SOOOOOO SLLLLOOOOOWWWW. The story should be about how long it took them to get into one stupid TV. What about all of the companies and devices? DVD players? Gaming systems? Sony? Phillips? This company continues to disappoint with their inability to be agile. This company should have 40 million subscribers by now.
Good post Spencer. This one sort of escaped me… must have been daydreaming or taking notes on the charts…
What was your final impression from the meeting?
Hopefully I’ll see the download update for my Samsung DVD player that already has Pandora.
Still waiting.
I just download the App on my smart tv and logged in, but it will not play due to network stream. What can I do?
