FCC Comment Scorecard – 6-12 Edition
Now that the FCC has started the time clock, and set the public response period, comments filed with the FCC have been arriving at a brisk pace. Overwhelmingly, consumers are participating and showing that they are in favor of the proposed merger between Sirius and XM. To date, 1,391 comments have been filed with over 70% being in support of the merger. Comments are arriving from average citizens to large organizations with huge membership rolls. The FCC Scorecard Results through 6-12-2007:
Position – Long Sirius, Long XM
I am for the merger for many reasons. I am a Sirius subscriber, but would like to hear some of the XM content. I would vote for satellite over terrestrial radio any day. I trust the price will remain competive as if it doesnt I will drop my service. Thank you, Pierce Miller
Please let sirius and xm merge I then can get baseball. I am a truck driver and cannot get my team in other states as I am driving through.

unfortunately pierce, once they merge XM content will become Sirius content… the different stations will merge or be let go…

simply enter in 07-57 for the proceeding and you can access all comments made regarding the merger
