Good going.

I'm still nursing a torn rotator cuff, so my golf bag has been out of the garage only once this year. Maybe one day (when the temperature decides to drop below 90) I'll be able to drag my golfing buddy out of his big fat recliner chair and see if I can hit out of my own shadow...... BTW, I want to tell you there is no shame admitting when you are an old fart, and therefore you have earned the right to play from the SR. tees. If and when you get discouraged and struggling to break 35 from the Blues, don't fell bad to move down to the Whites if for no reason than to gain a confidence boost.
Jeez Sly, maybe you're rotator cuff would heal faster if you didn't pat yourself on the back so hard about the Golftec recommendation! Just kidding my friend. While it's certainly not for everyone, Golftec has helped my game immensely. I think specifically your advice about spreading out the lessons and putting to practice those things that are learned each week in between lessons really was the key.
Re: the white tee's, from one old fart to the other, I get it and I'd tee off from the whites too but I'd have to recalibrate distances. For example, the other day (the day I shot my 37 this week) I just absolutely smashed a drive on the first hole and the ball rolled up to about 10 feet in front of a little creek that bisected the fairway about 20 yards in front of the green. If I had used the whites, the ball would have been in the creek and if I had used my 3 wood off the tee instead of the driver, well...what advantage would the extra 25 yards from the whites have provided?

Not Everything John Malone Touches Turns to Gold

But he does know when a stock is dead money.

Barrons says BKS is a buy here at $11.50 with a price target of $17.

Malone sold his almost 20% stake in the company over two years ago - before the dividend was instituted - when the stock was trading a pretty much the same place it is now. It did run up to the mid $17's last summer on the strength of the dividend being instituted but has sense pulled back to current levels.

In the meantime, that dividend pays a 5.3% yield. With a yield like that I may take a second look.

Obama's Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Weekend

First he gets snubbed by the Chinese and has to crawl out of the back of his plane while some low level gov't official tells his National Security Advisor that she doesn't have security clearance in China to just stand wherever she wants.

Then he gets the stink-eye from Putin.

The the President of the Phillipines calls his mother names and tell him mind his own business.

Finally, they all just tell him to not let the door hit him on the ass on his way out.
