Next time when you bet such a huge amount on a news announcement, don't drink. It's unbecoming It was pretty obvious last night you made a large bet on Sirius XM Stern deal and had a few too many.

I didn't bet anything new the last few weeks. Didn't add to the core. I figured the deal was priced in. Never even guessed that Sirius would extend to live video and 12 years of archives. I will be adding over the next week or so. I love it! Watching for some good buying opportunities. I hope the price doesn't run away from me. In either case I will be dollar cost averaging in. So happy! You know nothing!

I can see the news has really impacted the stock price. Hmmm...

"Hope" is never a very good "investment" strategy. In fact, it's more of a "guessing" strategy. If you've done your homework and it's all about fcf and ebitda and ev then "hope" should not even play into it. Heck, my 5 year old niece even knows this. Geesh.

Dollar cost averaging is one of the oldest principles of investing that Lynch supported. Man, you guys should just go to Las Vegas and place bets. Investing is a whole different ballgame.

My point exactly Spencer. With dollar cost averaging I don't worry about if "the price runs away". I'm averaging in.

I don't think it really matters with SIRI. The stock isn't going anywhere right now. You have plenty of time to decide if you want to average in or not.

Here's what is funny about the Stern news. It's the biggest news in 5 years for Sirius XM and the stock just sits there like a turd. Not one person in here can't claim that the overall market worked against them either. Sad.
