When was the last time someone ran to their car to listen to an NFL football game? I mean... I guess if you were someone that spends their Sunday's or Monday nights in their car driving around, this is good news. HAHAHAHA. YAY!!! We can listen to the football game in our car!

FYYI, there's a GolfTec Special this week..if you donate $20 or more this week to PGA Reach - PGA charity...you'll get a free one hour lesson at GolfTec....you have to sign up for both, but SI if you've taken lessons you know for sure that #1 Golftec is awesome and #2 $20 for a one hour lesson is a hell of a deal!
Through your power of suggestion (reminder of the charity contribution begets free lesson), I called my coach at Golftec, confirmed my intentions and his availability. Since I have plans to play on Friday, he volunteered to have my free lesson tomorrow morning. So, that's the plan, and not a bad deal since I was planning anyway to go to the driving range tomorrow where a large bucket of balls would have been almost half the cost of my charity contribution.......Now I get equivalent of a bucket of balls for free as I warm up for my lesson, and then a 30 minute lesson, and ability to stay for more practice if desired. Such a deal.

Lessons are overrated si. Here is a tip brother....mentally understand the correct swing path plane...then be able to draw it correctly on a piece of of paper, hell you can even practice drawing it in the sand at the damn beach while working on your tan and checking out the ass ....once you achieve both those....then you can hit the damn ball. Easy peasy baby. No charge for that.

Hate to be among those to point out the error of your thinking (and advice), DM, but when a dozen lessons have taken off 15 strokes, you can take all the swing plane and paper dolls you want and you won't get those results......... you can visualize all the swing path geometry you can, but until you know how to deal with a torn rotator cuff, blindness in one eye, and Senior Citizen status, you don't stand a chance simply drawing a line in the sand. PS. Cover one eye and see what you can make of that arc on a piece of paper. Better yet, cover one eye and tell me how many times you can hit the ball on the screws (that's shop talk for old timers who use to play with wooden clubs with screws in the club face).

OK DM, until that last crack I was willing to go along with your BS. If anyone can point me to the REJECT button, I will be happy to honor your desire to be tossed into the shitter. You are an absolute PRICK.

Probably much less than when they were competing with XM on these deals. LIKELY A LOT LESS! And don't forget it is not just in the car (which is extremely valuable) but also on your PHONE and ON DEMAND NFL sports talk.

Meyer is proving himself following in Mel's footsteps. There is no doubt about it. Market had its doubts at first. Who can follow Mel? Not anymore.

Your right si...i apologize sometimes i can be a prick. Dont worry to much about it tho....i will be gone before the beginning of the new year or when admin here bans me whichever comes first. you could always try to facilitate admin banning me by filing a formal complaint....you would actually be doing everyone a favor if you did that.

SI....there is a little triangle icon below this message just to the left. Click on that and you can file a complaint against me.

Muscle...It certainly cant be that valuable. According to MIDAS THE LIAR there are no NFL fans that get stuck in their vehicles on Sundays. Next he will be telling us no one gets stuck working the sunday shift with no tv, and they have no need to stream the games via their phone or computer.

There a ton of NFL fans that root for an out of state team. A ton. Some have moved to other cities, some are just fans of another team. How many Raiders or Cowboys fans are there throughout the country? People appreciate having the ability to listen to out of town games and people also appreciate the ability to keep listening to a game after they leave their home and get on the road.

I know for me with the baseball pennant race I was listening to Washington National games on my phone (Sirius app) on the beach in August in NY when they were in a tight race with my Mets, before the Mets blew them out of the water. Sports is a big deal on radio. Especially when it gets down crunch time and playoff contention. Radio beats scoreboard watching.
