Those are great shots! Nice job SI!!

I used a tripod and timer. I extended the exposure time a little bit so I could capture more light. As I played with the settings, I finally got some shots that I was happy with. Taking pictures with the timer really helped a lot.

I actually recorded 120+ shots, and so far have only scratched the surface in my post-processing. Here's one shot taken exactly at the beginning of the Total Cover, and the second was 8 minutes later (i.e. 10:11 and 10:19 pm EDT, respectively):

PS. Time permitting, I need to edit shots from a second camera. Will post if something shows up better than what you see here.

Yes, the tripod is a MUST, and rather than a timer I used a remote shutter control and varied my shutter Exposure Settings throughout the session,... I had a range of ISO from 100-2200 and shutter speeds from 1 second to 1/1250 sec....... I not only had fits with constant drifting clouds, but the mosquitos damn near carried me away. I learned a lot with this being first Lunar exercise, and I can see now that I should have gone with longer shutter speeds. Oh well, now to move on to the next photo targets.

Same here with the clouds. We stood around a lot waiting for them to clear. I will have to look at photo details to see what settings I was using. I was all over the place trying to figure it out. My neighbor, who's a photographer, had trouble last night. She texted me wishing I had called her. She was very happy with my pictures. I went to one of her photography classes about 2 years ago. Again, nice job!

    Nice Pics Guys! Really impressive.

Now, here's my "Pic" for tonite: Packers by a touchdown. Chiefs are gonna have to make their points on the ground as my research says that's really the only place they have a distinct advantage over the Packers and their offensive line isn't a match for Green Bay's pass rush....just my $.02

Disclaimer #1 - I have no idea who either team's QB's are nor can I name a single player or coach on either team. Just looking at stats here.

Well seems as what i suggested is happening right on cue. If we have another day tomorrow like we had today looks like we will be at that 3.65 area.

What are we going for next? I am going to try for some wild turkey BUT I will have to carry my camera on the walk as the turkey usually show up about 7:25am.

I like that the more we don't discuss Sirius XM the more it goes down. Buying opportunity?

SIRI has a really good chance of testing its previous lows, just like the rest of the market. Same plan, selling long shares @ 3.65/3.66 break. New twist, i'll be leaving the SIRI hedge from last Monday (@ 3.86) in place due to the environment we are in.

Still long 25 Nov. VIX Calls, 22 strike. Still long Dec. PBR Puts, 7 strike. As I mentioned, every other long position is hedged.

Retest of SnP 1855/1860 is on its way where a minor relief rally should take place. No rally = bad technically. Won't trade it, will wait for SnP 1820.

GLEN:LN and PBR CDS's are parabolic. A lot of bad debt there, that risk has to be priced in to the market (see JNK and HYG). PBR will be the much bigger hit. 90 billion in dollar denominated debt all at risk of default with every tick lower in BRL (Brazilian Real). Brazilian Central bank started selling reserves to stabilize the BRL. Two days later BRL is on its way to testing its lows again. Not a lot of companies wanting (or able) to issue new debt right now in the face of that headwind. Reiterate from what I said in early August, a PBR bankruptcy is a black swan event if it occurs.
