SIRI is looking good today fighting off any selling. Maybe it will go green and close. It would make for a nice relaxing weekend for sure. No real news to report. Fingers crossed we get a green close.

Thanks for the shout out Midas. Although not invested in Siri any longer I still like to follow it. Had 450,000 shares that I purchased at end of 08 & first half of 09. Moved out beginning of 14 when Liberty collared it with a choke chain. Also like coming here for Muscle's input on media. Also follow King of All Trades that's a spin off of old Satwaves that now covers numerous stocks and is strong on biomeds which along with media I invest in now.

@muscle... can you smell what Apple is cooking? These are the so called "set top" or "streaming" deals they are doing with the telco's and cable companies. If you are already a customer, you can access your content via Apple TV now. On top of it, we are going to see a bunch of Apple TV apps coming from the developer community too. The Apple Fall Event is going to be very interesting to see. Of course, Apple TV has been supporting U-Verse for awhile now. That's how I watch my biz channels in my office. YEEHAW!

Rick runs it but comments from him are few and far between. Two of the main contributors from Satwaves are Remor Demitrius & Johnny Irish. There are a few others also. Most of the comments are in "The Experts" form which is a premium service but well worth it IMHO. They also have radio shows from time to time run by Remor & Irish well worth while listening to. I believe one is scheduled for next Thurs.

I remember Remor from SatWaves, but not Johnny Irish. It's been a few years since I visited that site (KOAT) but it looks like it's had a few upgrades....Always nice to have other stocks to discuss. Of course we do that here when things gets slow with siri - which is most of the time.

Midas are you aware that, similar to the derogatory term "Anchor Baby" some folks might be offended by being referred to with the term "Lurker"? Can we not be more sensitive and use something more acceptable? Perhaps "undocumented reader of forum posts" would be less offensive descriptor?

Well folks, another trading week comes to a close and our favorite little SIRI stock was pretty flat for the past 5 days...sure, down a bit if you are splitting hairs but I'd call it a tie this week. Nevertheless, in my humble opinion it was a very pleasant week here in the forum where for some reason everyone was civil and well behaved and generally very pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed everyone this week and thank you for your comments, insights, jokes and company.
Happy Labor Day Weekend! Enjoy family and friends, grill some dogs and burgers, enjoy a little Friday night H.S. Football, sleep late, play hard, and let's rest up another week at the wheel on Tuesday!
