Hopefully it is not an indication of where we are going eventually...that would not be fun....as a long. For Midas.......boat loads of fun
Boat loads of fun for midas...lmao....thanks for the chuckle!

He is a great contrarian indicator tho....just do the opposite of what he does. He says sell 3.15 wait for 2.75....stock goes to 4&change. He buys at the top range 3.95ish....stock tanks to 3.30 sits at 3.70. Cant make this up...great stuff.

As we saw yesterday, the markets don't care about earnings or what analysts think. The drop yesterday took everything with it including those companies that are "DOING SO WELL." Get ready... because if yesterday was an indication of things to come, everything is going down and down big.

Not that i believe you own one share...but just trying to understand your madness/advice. You say get ready "everything going down big", yet you supposedly bought at the close yesterday after you bought near the top a few weeks ago. If you think we all should be ready and you think its going down "BIG" why would you buy like you did last night at this level. Interesting lol.

I agree we haven't seen the 2nd shoe drop yet. The rate cut by the PBOC is not enough to sustain their downward slide and they will influence the global mkts....Waldo put it this way:

Hard to tell the half life on the equity side of a rate cut; ex-fiscal stimulus (which they don't need, but could use to kick it in gear), shorter and shorter each time for them. Not the kitchen sink I am expecting....yet.

Take profits along the way, its not a permanent solution.
I know these are not messages most investors want to hear but investing is as much about protecting against loss as it is about taking advantage of rising markets. We all know that markets fall a lot faster than they rise in most cases, and for a prudent investor these are words of wisdom to heed. Judging from the fact that we started the day up 500 points and are now in the red by over 100 points, I'd have to say both of you are spot on with your assessments so far. As of this writing (3:50 pm est) the mkt has dropped 250 points in 30 minutes.....sheesh!
