Market sucks balls and SIRI is getting taken down too. Shorting $4 would have made for a nice trade for sure though the range did break. Hopefully we're close to a bottom. SIRI and market pretty oversold.

Edit...I see things got a little testy at boyz/rams dual practice...not surprising those at this point all teams are sick of pre....they just want to go out and hit/play for real.

Well it was op-ex today so maybe that pushed things south a little bit more than it otherwise would have been. That and the fact that there are probably a lot of cheating husbands who got outted by the Ashley Madison hack that are emptying their 401(k) accounts ahead of the divorce papers being served.
At any rate be ready for anything on Monday.....maybe a bounce....maybe more of the same if there's any dark news coming out of the weekend. I for one will not try and catch any falling knives....been cut doing that too many times before.
I must have stepped into a wormhole and gone back in time to 2008. The dow -500 pts AND Tiger Woods is tied for 1st place in a golf tournement going into the weekend.
Wow! The 500 point drop I predicted this morning happened sooner than I thought! I say we trade higher on Monday. I suspect the market is nearing full correction and will settle in this new more reasonable 16000ish range. Just needed a strong negative pressure to catalyze, which the market finally found in the China calamity.
Bought Disney again today. I'm getting a little tired of this. Will take off a week and if it's down again after next week I may buy more the following week. Will keep dollar cost averaging until it turns. Crockett hit the nail on the head with Disney today -

This is just the beginning. Corrections just don't happen over night and then we go back up the next day. Sure... we may get some dip buying but this could go much lower. Midas $2.75????

Agree, $4 seems a bit further off with this Macro takedown. No matter...the more they keep it down the more undervalued SIRI gets as they continue to show great #s Q after Q. Looks like Q3 #s or a HS decision one way or the other before SIRI takes out $4. Though we could get more OEM CVS announcements to push us up and over before then.
Can't stand pre season. It's too long and sucks to watch.....then again I love pro football so its better than no football. Opening day isn't far away....
EDIT: Was out of town for the day so could not watch the market. Really glad I didn't stress over the thrashing. We were oversold before today. Can't see us going down much further before a hard snap back....at least for a nice trade. NAS, RUT and DJ already in correction territory. The S&P not there yet but not far off.
