    edit 3: VIX turned south again and almost got there for me. Almost - the story of my life. Anyway, tomorrow is another day and we'll see what happens.

    Sorry Nazareth... I was taking the day off from trading today. I will take a look at it. i would not "bet" too much money unless you are seeing a lot of speculative buying and unusually high volume. You can make quick money on these OTC stocks but you can also lose your arse. By the sound of your comment, I think you know this already.

    We had a couple of guys in chat that invested heavily in the legalization of recreational and medicinal hype. They lost a lot of money. We had a few guys that sold and made a lot too.

    AllllllllllRighty Then!!!!! Sold the calls at the open this morning for $3.20.....That's $990 profit on $2,310 invested.

    Sorry...$890 profit.....I'm so pumped I finally got that trade right that I screwed up the math.....so.....$890 puts a small dent in the $$$ of lost over the years on VIX trades....kinda like playing to the lottery, I've learned never to buy what I can't afford to lose. Prolly another $5k to go before I break for the VIX lifetime.

    As the person that seems to pay the most attention to the media companies. What do you think of the Liberty Broadband Special Meeting. From reading it looks like they want to issues more shares to raise cash for the Charter purchase. Have you received the proxy vote materials yet?
    Just curious what you thought. Also appears that it doesn't matter how we vote they'll basically do whatever they want anyway.

    @hedy. I know this was directed at Muscle and perhaps he's better equipped to answer in any case but FWIW my understanding is that they are only considering an issuance of C shares, which are non-voting shares. I guess that begs the question of why ask stockholders at all?
