Unless there is something I do not understand, yes. If Sirius XM didn't not have their satellites to distribute their content, they would need a another distribution method. One of those methods could be thru one of the internet providers like cable, telco, etc.

I think your DIS is back over $120 by Christmas.....this pullback is typical market over-reaction.

User... do you think it's a good time to get in Disney like muscle or would you wait a bit longer?

Comcast has already broken box office records this year with Jurassic World, Fast 7, and Minions. Sleeper hit coming this weekend that nobody expected - Straight Outta Compton. Just watch, will hit #1 this Friday guaranteed. Buzz is building. Go Comcast!

Count me in on Straight Outta Compton. We are going to see that. My daughter has seen Jurassic World 4 times already with friends and family. Money keeps flowing into it from this family.

So, if they had to buy broadband from another provider, wouldn't their distribution costs go up and then they would be subjected to dealing with an outside vendor that would have total control of their distribution. By having satellites and internet, you get the best of both worlds. imho

@muscle... don't rip me to shreds but WHY DOESN'T Sirius XM merge with Pandora?

Edit: Get ready for the new Apple TV. Fingers crossed they are partnered with AT&T on this new set top they've been working on for a few years now.

Yup. All good points. Agree 100% We could use some help here. You have the consumer who would need internet to get the content from Sirius XM. I guess Sirius XM would need a distribution mechanism for delivering it to the consumer. I mean they have it now with their internet app.

Come on.....Does Pandora have any cash flow at all? Call me old fashioned, but I still think it's all about profits.
