During this intirem time, I'll assess whether or not anything has changed, and if not, I'll cancel my renewable subscription. For now, it is a free ride to see if anything of value is going on over there............and it's a chance to notify some of our old buddies just where they can find us (and a welcome place to share ideas).

SLY - actually you got charged $50 for the initial sign-up and will get charged $50 every year thereafter. Just take a look at your Paypal account and you'll see 2 BJM lines. One for the initial $50 and a second line for the recurring payment. Of course it's up to you whether you decide to stay there or go. I wouldn't give him a nickel for his worthless opinions these days.

There's a bunch of guys here like denco and Limit, as well as others, who provide much more valuable information and aren't pricks in the process. Just my 2 cents.

PS.......in case anyone is interested, I saw Doc at that other site for the first time; dropped him a PM to let him know to come here.
That was about a 38" Striped Bass, looks really big due to the angle (now how did that happen!) I caught it (and a ton more) at the mouth of the Merrimack River at Newburyport Harbor, MA last spring. dragging 2oz rigs along the bottom drifting with the tide in a little skiff using fresh mackerel for bait. I do that a couple times a year with my wife's brother, but mostly I surf-cast with clams on the shore.

Thanks for asking. Any MA guys wanna fish let me know, spring is coming up sooner than you think!

Sometimes the best play is to walk away with no bitterness or grudges. If you made any money over the months-years there then what a few hundred in the long run. Put it behind you. I did. No regrets, no heart burn...smiles everybody.

+1 very well said. People need to let go of the past. It was fun while it lasted but it is now time to move on. While I was tempted a few weeks ago to submit the paypal dispute, i simply just said to myself "let it go, you were the dumbass that paid the extra $50"......and that was my last though about it (other than when it gets brought up here)
