I also do now understand the multiple quote thingy now though I thought that check handled getting the full thread in the reply quote.

Why do some of you in here think that you can sell sirius tomorrow ( or sooner then the 18) and still get the dividend. It appears to me that SXM says that you must hold the stock on the 18. Am I missing something?

The Board of Directors also declared a special cash dividend in the amount of $0.05 per share of common stock, payable on December 28, 2012 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on December 18, 2012.

By holding it through today's close, you get a settlement date of 12/18 (3 days w/ weekend), so a sale tomorrow shows a settled sale of 12/19. Tricky stuff, but check with your broker to hear it for yourself.

What's with the 2.25 price target:

Most charting allows some anomalies. Just watch for recovery and no confirmations
