This is absoutely a fact.

Wisconsin "THE ONLY STATE IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY TO LOSE JOBS IN 2011."
Obviously he cant explain it. Embarassing to those who were making fun of Illinois.


Who is responsible on a state by state level for change in unemployment down during the past 2 or 3 years is tricky. But clearly this downward pattern is being led by national trends. Be careful of those who want to take to take credit for it.

But Republican Party spokesman Ben Sparks ignored the job losses and focused on a piece of good news in the report showing that the unemployment rate in March dropped from 6.9 percent to 6.8 percent. That's the lowest it's been since 2008 and down from 7.6 percent a year ago. It's also below the national unemployment rate of 8.2 percent.

"Wisconsin's unemployment rate has steadily dropped since Gov. Walker took office, despite the failed policies of the previous administration that culminated in a 9.2 percent unemployment rate and 150,000 lost jobs," Sparks said. "As our unemployment rate continues to drop, it's clear that Gov. Walker's policies are working and moving Wisconsin forward."

The fact that Wisconsin is the ONLY Statee in the entire country to lose jobs in 2011 is significant.
Now if this continues in 2012 we have a quite significant fact to investigate.

IL is worse than the national average. WI is way better!

Wisconsin is a nicer place to visit. People are friendly and the workforce is solid.

I hate traveling in IL. Tolls are all over the place. You see, they need to fund their public sector unions pension obligations.

Illinois's unemployment rate started at a high between 11
to 12%. You do have to put it in perspective no?

Wisconsin started at a high 9%.


If you look at the graphs they show the same pattern of drop pretty much,
though Illinois unemployment rate came down more by % terms.
Historically Illinois has always had a higher unemployment than Wisconsin
and it would be interesting to investigate why.


As i said, be careful with statistics. And do show all the FACTS.

And again why do you think that Wisconsin was the ONLY state to lose jobs in 2011.
Could it have had something to do with Walkers policies? AT the VERY LEAST its
worth looking into. No?


I dont know about the differences in tolls, bridges and scenic beauty. I do know that
Chicago is a pretty cool city in a lot of ways.
