Rally is over, cash out your long positions and wait for the smoke to clear. Shorts are poised to get control soon, FAZ...I added to my position today 12.44ish. I think the bottom is in but I also thought 17 was the old bottom. Stock dropped to under 11 and siri popped back to where I started my position, I cashed 4/5th of my position and scooped FAZ. Big Ben top is 11125 on the dow, roughly. The government is getting out the whipping stick and boy oh boy they are going to use it, GS is first line and anyone who pulled any sneaky shit is going in front of the firing range. Go Obama! Save my portfolio. The timing is also impeccable. The best part is Chris Dodd screaming about reform, when he got a few shady mortgages from Country Wide, he was on the Mo-zillo short list. They are all crooks, don't ever get it twisted.

The global spiral is starting back up again. If we finish weak this afternoon, tonight Asia will be the market to watch, if the weakness follows through, it will walk right to Europe then to us. Down we go! Long way down too, long. Lots off points falling of the board quickly.

The market was down early in Obama's term because of Obama but not because of the Bush tax cuts, and now later in his term after the stimulus package it is up but only because of the Bush tax cuts, and in the future when the tax cuts for the rich are eliminated the market will go down and Obama will be to blame, but Bush will be exonerated.

Oh yeah! This week should be very interesting. Markets even though they are up today are way over bought. Foreclosures and bankruptcies up 20ish% in March...thats what is really going on in world. Face it, no one is hiring, unemployment benefits keep getting extended, all of our problems will come to the surface sooner or later. There is definitely a disturbance in the force, maybe the GS hanging is the beginning. I will add to my FAZ position tomorrow if it gets near its lows, I am a huge fan of doubling down. Here it is really difficult so I will explain it like you are 12 years old. The market was down because people knew of Obamas polocies the market went up after he tossed (what is now project to cost 848 BILLION) into the economy. There is noone that believes that you cant throw that kind of money around and not have some effect, even if it is short term (the fact is the market would have gone up at least as much if he took just 250 billion and directed it towards small bussiness). The market reacts to long and short term effects the smart money knows this and will take advantage of it. Hence the reason we see SIRIXM PPS go down just after a great CC (I know from your post that that must still confuse you as to WHY it happens). The market knows that while the stimulas had an effect that it will be short term and that the deficit it caused will effect the economy (in ways it will take much to long to explain to a 12 year old). Reguardless the first effect it will have is that it will send taxes up (capital gains) and everyone and their brother knows (except you), what happens to the market just before they raise capital gains. The target date is Jan., so what you will get is people trying to beat out others (playing chicken so to speak) so the market will start to go down well before it happens. Do you get it you dumb twit.

John...good post, I think you cornered Havakash with your last post, and no uses of the word twit. I unfortunately was in the 12 year old crowd for the first part of the stimulus run up. I was thinking wall street was going to look 12 months out, and stay away. Not the case, smart money got in and rode this bubble up faster than I could type. I agree 100 percent about why money is being made this year and not next. After the Bush tax cuts expire we should be in for a crazy ride....in connection with your comment about the chicken game...my example is the everyone running for the exit at the same time..while the door gets smaller. I also agree the smart and fast money is going to get out way before main street causing another drop of epic proportions. I feel for the crowd who are true believers...they got burnt the first time and got some of their money back and the next time they will be the ones holding the bag. I ask my one buddy is it smart to add to your position in the face of a double dip recession. I personally like being in the minority, shorting and having cash, why you might ask? Wall street is a sneaky game and being in the big crowd is almost always the side of the ship that sinks first. Its kind of like when the titanic cracked. Good luck today!
