I personally don't have a clue. Maybe somebody else knows. It would probably have to be at least "Good", or it wouldn't make it through Walmart's product selection process. They screen everything for quality, value and price.

Like they say - If your product makes it into Walmart..then you are rich.

Have you ever seen how they do that on T.V.? It is pretty interesting.

Night....Time to go read and sleep....

    Morning all ...

The link I have in my favorites to get to the shrub just happened to be captured under an old ticker you guy's might recall - QEDN

Caught my attention more than usual as they have been active in getting their filings up, apparently trying to 'come clean' on the Pinkies ...

    http://www.pinksheets.com/pink/quote...EDN&tabValue=4

    Read the attorney letter and the semi-annual filing ... Here's a bit;

At the commencement of the six month period ended June 30, 2009, the market
for Software as a Service was projected to be strong and the product offerings
from the Company appeared to be well received. However, the Company was
unable to achieve sufficient revenue to support operations during the period
ending June 30, 2009. The early stage of its marketing and sales efforts
combined with the economic conditions were the primarily issues that affected
the ability to achieve revenues. In addition the Company was not able to secure
adequate financing to support the operations. As a result the marketing, sales,
and development efforts were put on hold while the Company pursued
alternatives strategies. As of the end of the June quarter the Company had
begun discussions with several investment bankers and outside consultants to
assist in finding financing or alternative proposals.

They also have a new PR out this morning, will post it separately. My early morning, first cup of coffee summarizations ... At least they appear to be shooting straight especially with how badly the business has done, want to get a better listing on the Pinks and are retooling their strategy. For all that I still would consider them, like the majority full of it and highly suspect, but it might be something to keep an eye on ... one day ocean voyage type of thing.

QED Connect Announces Completion of Strategic Operational and Financial Milestones
    10/08/08
Company Successfully Implements Advisory Committee Recommendations Designed to Improve Shareholder Value

NASHUA, NH – October 8, 2008 – QED Connect, Inc. (otc: QEDN), an innovative Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider for the information security market, today announced it has completed a series of strategic milestones consistent with previously announced plans to restructure operations and strengthen its
financial position. The Company has implemented the recommendations of its advisory committee, originally formed in May, strengthening its abilities to improve shareholder value and pursue a long-term growth plan.

In August, QED completed a reverse split of its common stock and obtained a new trading symbol, QEDN. The Company also initiated the process of becoming a fully reporting SEC Company by year end, in preparation of its application for a listing on the OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB). QED has also secured the necessary funding to expand its infrastructure and continue increasing market share for its flagship, award-winning Omni Manager product. Omni Manager is a web-hosted software application that protects computer networks and increases employee productivity via tools such as Internet and e-mail filtering and monitoring, asset tracking and policy management. The Company has hired additional sales staff and is establishing a dedicated reseller channel. New marketing programs, including a revamped web site, are also being developed that will promote QED’s current strategy and positioning.

“Sales continue to grow, and we expect a record 4th quarter ending December 2008 compared to the same quarter in 2007,” said Tom Makmann, Chairman and CEO, QED Connect. “Fourth quarter revenues should prove to be especially strong, as Omni Manager experiences increasing demand and uptake in new markets such as the construction industry, while maintaining its stable base of customers in the small to medium sized business and education segments.”

    Good Morning, Fellas...and Julie, Too

    ***

Okay, confession time...I have a few, today.

    1. My buddies and I were actually kicked off of a golf course about ten years ago. As it turns out, *they* don't like it when young bucks play crash 'em up derby in the golf carts - where one of the cart winds upside down. Go figure.

What else are you suppose to do when it starts raining and you've had too much to drink?

By the way, a golf cart whips around rather easily on wet grass and an 8% downgrade fun, too

    2. I'm not a regretful guy - but it took me most of the day to forgive myself for not being more patient on buying back the SIRI shares.

    3. I've always been a morning guy. Only thing is, it wasn't until I had a kid that I started waking up in the morning...

    4. Okay, here's the risky one...I'll add a disclaimer before beginning.
Disclaimer: I'm *not* trying to open up a political discussion. Quite the contrary - just making an observation that can be carried into other parts of our lives - the market, included.

So, my wife & her girlfriend went to see Moore's film yesterday. Ironically, she got the idea from my sharing John's ramblings with her.

Anyway, she's far from a current events gal. She does the Abraham Hicks thing & subscribes to the law of attraction stuff - much of it is cool with me - and strives to not look at the ugly stuff.

She came home - depressed and angry.

She was depressed by things that made her sad - apparently there were plenty of things related in the film that made her sad.

And she was angry by things in the film that made her mad. One of the first things she pointed out is - "that guy is a terrible director - he kept bouncing around, never staying on point - there really was no call to action. It would have been much better if he would have focused on one thing and developed it more".

I kept interrupting her by asking did he talk about the stock market - Goldman Sachs - Lehman Brothers - SXM...she continually rolled her eyes saying "no, not really".

So, yeah, apparently he bounced and touched on a lot of subjects without a tremendous amount of clarity and over all he didn't do well on my wife's score card.

    But --

    1. She went to see it - paid money to see it, even, and took a girlfriend.

    2. Now, I have to go see it -- so that I can relate to what has her upset.

    3. I went to bed around 9:30 -- she was still on the internet doing her research on the various things that were mentioned in the film.

How's this correlate? No matter how much we *think* that we like someone or something -- we owe it to ourselves to do our diligence to dig for the information that allows us to make an informed decision for ourselves.

Aside from other things, at the very least...we can only sit by the sidelines for so long. Regardless of who's team we're on -- we have to be involved in our world.

So - while I don't relish the idea...I may have to go over to the other thread and thank John for being the catalyst for my wife to update herself on current events and the state of the union

Jeff - It sounds like you're a good Papa, Jeff.

One of my best friends - she's now in her 60s - has always said "this too shall pass" - and she's right, you know.

Everything always works out one way or the other. It's pretty simple, really.
