    spng hope

the spng pr calling out the shorts was signed by a new IR company, and it appears that they are a big name...

    at bottom of fridays pr:

We believe that a number of documents cited in press reports about the Company are Internet forgeries being used by short sellers and stock speculators to undermine the integrity of the Company and profit from the adverse publicity. Statements in the press that SpongeTech must “restate” its financial statements are wrong. As a result of our former auditor’s difficulties with the PCAOB (Public Company Accounting Oversight Board), our financial statements for the 2008 and 2009 fiscal years are being re-audited, not restated, by our new auditing firm, Robison & Hill & Co. After the submission of the 10-K for fiscal 2009 year, Deliotte & Touche LLP will assume responsibility for the audit of SpongeTech’s financials beginning with the fiscal 2010 year that began June 1, 2009.

Romo, we're glad somebody is keeping us on track!

I've been swinging the sponge a bit this past week and did pretty well with it. I'd like to hold it for awhile if it ever decides to run.

te he ha ha --- it would appear that when the mice are away, the cat will also play...

It's been a rather busy weekend of chores and tai kwon do (the kid; I just watch)...and now it's nearly time to play dinner host to a friend and his lady. I've seen him, recently, but it's been a couple or three years since we've seen her.

We're looking forward to seeing her face when she sees the boy -- Now that I think about it, I don't think she's seen him since he was 18months old! She's really going to be surprised!

Oh yeah, the diet is out the window today. Three racks of ribs -- smothered with onions and garlic --- have been in the over for a few hours now.

I only allow myself to make/eat the ribs about once, sometimes (rarely) twice, per year.

Good things should be savored and anticipated - in my not at all humble opinion.

Anyway...after being in the oven for five to six hourse, they'll be taken out...slathered with Da Sauce...and return to the oven for another twenty minutes...the last part gets the sauce baked in nicely...but also does magic when it comes to getting those taste buds to really wanting *those ribs*.

    ***

Oh yeah, Romo -- Tib --- thanks for the work notes

I had read the spongee piece but didn't catch the new folks. good stuff.

QASP -- decisions decisions decisions...a big part of me wants to do my part in helping it run up I'll have to think about that one...

...hope you guys are enjoying some quality weekend time. I know that I am!

PS: this message was written on my laptop.

The laptop is on my lap. My ass has been in the massage chair for the past half-hour...life is tough at times. I deserve it...I had all of my chores completed by 9AM!

By the way - I sidegraded to an electric lawnmower. It's ridiculous how much pleasure I'm deriving from NOT having a gas-powered engine on it!

    Pork...

I've never been a fan of beef ribs.

Now, don't go thinking that I don't get down with steaks and burgers, though

One thing that we do not skimp on is food -- especially our steaks and burgers.

My current favorite burger (and the only thing I requested for father's & birthday) is high end beef infused with lipton's soup mix -- grilled medium rare -- topped with aged bleu cheese and carmelized onions.

It's a must to start - about 45 minutes before eating - with a nice Andrew Murray Red -- chilled to roughly 61 degrees.

    Love,

    Porkbutt

Same here ... I BBQ all year round, rain or shine. Beef ribs are tricky, have had mixed success with them ... Of course if you can find them with more meat than fat.

I don't know what all that stuff you are putting on your burger is ...
