But, I'd rather not see a RS. It will cause our investments to shrink and potentially delay significant gains if the SP rebounds following a period of time after RS. I am hopeful the need for RS will naturally disappear as SP rises over a buck on its own.

That is because most companies are doing it for the wrong reasons. If the company has the catalist to go with a split then they will do well enough. Here is another that did and is doing ok after a split that was forced because of a delisting notice, DFR.

The site in the beginning was more involved in the products and general news on the company. Then it went from that to the merger and then from that to the stock. The reason in my minds eye was because that is where the talk (postings) was headed. Also (and Charles may disagree) the main page was the big draw and the forums was a secondary. I have found the opposite has happen.

    Site Changes

First things first. The forums are the forums, and will remain open and operating as they always have. while I may not write about the equity on the site, the discussion of the equity is natural, and we are pleased to host a place where all of you can discuss your ideas, thoughts, and strategies.

My decision was made on several levels. Some were financial, some were personal. A site such as this takes a lot of effort to produce and maintain. As a fan of satellite radio, I did not mind doing what it took to deliver a great site and great product. I have a passion for satellite radio, and that was a big motivator for me. Yes, the site makes a bit of money, but in all honestly, I (and Charles) was spending hours upon hours upon hours for what was a very small financial reward. Because I wrote about the equity, I was not trading it. This left me missing many opportunities over time. Even that I could live with. However, there came a time and circumstances that took the fun out of doing the site. At that point I had to ask myself many questions, including whether or not I wanted to continue to write at all.

Over the past couple of weeks I have had many discussions regarding the site and the direction of the site. I like to be a positive person. With what was happening in coverage of the equity, it became clear to me that continuing with a site writing about the equity was not going to be a positive thing unless many things changed. I do not see those changes happening, so decided that it would be best to not write about the equity anymore.

Getting down to the roots of these issues, I saw that I was still passionate about the company and the products. I saw that there is a need for good information about these sides of satellite radio that needed to be explored and written about. I made the decision to shift the focus in that direction.

Now back to the equity. I have had a ton of requests about my opinion on various aspects of the equity from some incredible places. The common theme in many of these emails is that people still want me to cover the equity. This placed me at odds with the direction I wanted to go in with the site.

Interesting John, how sites evolve. For the better or worse. Maybe a happy medium can be maintained? If new content drives postings, then a shift in the forum might be affected. I think more informed consumers, make for better investors anyway. If you love the product, and use the product, sites like this only help the bottom line. Awareness is important, and the ability to communicate with like minded individuals is priceless.

    Site Changes Part 2

    Why have a subscription service?

The subscription service will be called Satellite Standard. The format may include but is not limited to reports in PDF or "log-in" web page at standard fees, and additional podcasts for nominal additional fees. Details will be available soon.

Over the years I have seen my work and analysys appear in many different places. It can be somewhat frustrating to see all of my effort taken away with a simply copy and paste function. It can be frustrating to unearth information, build contacts, spends hours on a spreadsheet only to have someone else jump onto the train after I have spent all of the time building the train. By making it a subscription service, I can keep the value in the product that I deliver. Additionally, I will have an opportunity to see a better financial return on my efforts. I can't tell you how many times I would introduce something on this site only to see my analysis appear all over the web. Those that subscribe will be asked to not dissimate the information. that should curb a lot of the problems we were having.

Yes, my reports will have a fee. That is the nature of this business. However, because this information is no longer "free" to anyone and everyone, those that have the reports will have something that carries a value. Analysis for free seems like a wonderful concept, but when everyone has information, the value of that information is diluted.

    WHY ONLY SELECT CLIENTS?

Simply stated, I want to be able to control who has access to my work. I will grow the subscription service at a controlled pace to ensure that those who become subscribers keep the value in their subscription. I want subscribers who will respect the value of my work, and not distribute it all over creation. People that are interested have already started to email me. I will be e-mailing those people additional information soon, and deciding on how big the subscription base will be, and at what pace it will grow. This is not designed to exclude anyone, but rather to ensure that value is maintained, and to protect my work from unauthorized distribution.

WHAT OTHER THINGS WILL BE HAPPENING?

We have several things we are working on, and will announce and roll them out when we are sure they are ready. The goal of SiriusBuzz is to give the consumer information they need and like.

relmor, For me I have ended up spending more time in a part of the forum I never even bothered with before. With people like Lloyd putting up a new thread sometimes 5 times a day, I found it necessary to make sure people that dont sign in but view the political threads dont get a far left liberial propaganda campaign. What I believe has happen is that some if not many have found out that they made the wrong decision voting in a democrat President, House, and Senate. As with most of my post they are there to help people with common sense and logic, that has very rearly been wrong.

Thanks for the information Spencer. It's great to know that you'll be back in the saddle again and that Sirius Buzz will live on in one form or another. I totally appreciate all that you are doing for all of us.

Gosh darn it...... I know those pom-poms are someplace.....I even tripped over them yesterday.

    Oh, here they are!

    Rah Rah Rah!

Another close at 68 cents. We had a few down days there. I added many shares to my position during that period.

I suspect the Motley Fool will have another dire story for us tonight. That should help the price a bit. I'm seeing 69 cents for Wednesday!

Good. I read his article and wasn't quite sure what he was saying.
I really would hate to lose this site too, glad we're not going anywhere.

    Group hug.

    Julie

P.S. That's the best I could do with the smileys we have

    Hi Chicago Gary,

If you read daily, why not write a few posts? If you don't know what to say like I often don't, just throw in some useless trivia or a weather
report or two. Then you too can become a Senior Member of Sirius Buzz.

    Julie

P.S. I didn't notice the name Julie in your list. I guess that must have been
an oversight. I'm gonna let this one slide.
