I am just posting this so all of you have a heads up. I just heard on the news that if you got that $4500 for your clunker that it will be taxed as income. It isn't free money like a lot of people thought...including myself.

That is complete BS if it is so ... It's already our money.

The deal is off then. I want my truck un-smashed and brought back to the lot for non-disclosure.

This group of idiots is doing a fine job of working themselves out of a job ... that is IF the short term memory loss isn't further eroded by the dumbing down of the masses ...

I have a solution. Turn the White House into a museum piece. Take the two constituencies and remove the labels (and the members) - No more Rep.\Demo's. One constituency will be represented by the Great State of Alaska, the other by the Great State of Texas. The Constitution will be upheld and appealed to decisively, consistently and without interruption by the hordes of lobbyists, special interests or other agenda carrying operations, since they will be banished from the landscape. Anyone that has ever worked for, knows of, or has any relationship to GS will be abolished from the new (read "old style") government and relocated to North Korea where they can adjust their economy all they like. Bear Sterns will be resurrected from the ash heap and renamed Bull Stearns and will be operated by a group of investors formerly know as "The Crazy Penny Chasers'. They will also set economic policy henceforth.

The spokettes are all over the place and even have companies confused EVLN and EVFL, yet we are still going to be millionaires, despite the fact that EVLN hasn't blah blah blah...wow..it just doesn't pay to go in there looking for facts. It is pretty humorous though....

Nice Tib, just don't fall off the couch when you wake up!!! lol. Politically, the day of reckoning is near. I think the general masses are being awakened to the feel of Uncle Sam lifting their wallet outta their back pocket.....at least that's what happening here in the Great State of North Carolina. Our governor just raised taxes on anything that moves and most things that don't. She even tried to sneak in a Surcharge of 2% on the taxes you pay to Uncle Sam...double dipping, can you imagine?

You have the best idea on government that I have ever heard with Alaska and Texas. I would join that government in a heart beat!
