AND because of the subscription price of the Sirrius service.
Now, if the subscription was say......6 or 7 bucks a month, and I could pull the content off of the internet, I would be a subscriber.
So, you're right! I know I'm not alone in my frugality. There are millions of potential customers that might come on board if the rate was lower and the distribution methods were expanded.
The question is, would Sirrius make any more profit by doing these things.
Making money is the question...you are totally correct. I think in terms of if I now have 50 mil subscribers, what can I sell them beyond their basic subscription? Live broadcast of sold out concerts? The newest release of the most sought after artist? Not to mention the greater advertising dollars.
SXM could become a profitable distribution channel of all kinds of content.

Yea, volume is barely 10% of what it was a couple of hours ago. Did everyone already leave for the weekend?

Maybe they are all trading in the Dow. I just noticed that there isn't one loser of the 30 right now.

That always scares me. I start looking for that marble off the table that Romo mentioned.

To begin, SIRI sitting at near $0.50 for two hours suggests that SIRI is being very well controlled, especially considering it is the 2nd most actively traded on the NASDAQ behind QQQQ. So some entity is preparing to do something dramatic. . .short or rise. In either case it will likely not sit here for long.
