Did you notice the date of that thread and that does not include all the other times I have said it BEFORE in post.
I am sure you said it but I said it back when nicemac was making their app and people asked what it would mean to the bottom line. That was back in December.

It was a blast today! LOL, but I don't have any SIRI at the moment. Julie, did you get Bass's response to your mathematical question. He worked on that all day long.

I read it and thought "Hell, it's too early in the morning to even try to figure this out" and decided to just let it drift by and hope somebody else would catch it. Well, nobody was answering it so I started feeling bad and was going to work on it when I saw Bass came up with an answer. Consequently, I was relieved and sat back and let him run with it. He is really good with numbers (being a professional Poker player). I am pretty good with physics...I can put a projectile up a squirrel's ass 3 miles away, but I just get blown away with averages. Oh well, I am happy for all the SIRI people and keep on rocking! Back to home base...adios.

Yes I did, Bill. And I appreciated all his hard work. He even explained to me how he arrived at those figures. Speaking slowly of course, he helped me to understand.
Now if I have a squirrel that needs to be taken care of, I'll know who to call.

Business week article released last night. It's amazing to me how a
journalist can take the same figures and twist them to reflect his
own point of view. It is not at all objective, it's an editorial. Reported
loss of 186,000 subs this quarter, last quarter 400,000, STILL NOT A
HOPEFUL SIGN. If that's not hopeful, than what in the hell is?

    Sorry, coffee is ready now.

That is when I started to throw cold water on this whole Iphone app. As you know I have always said they would not get many subs from it and the reason being the cost. I also never expected it to beat any of the TRUELY free apps until at least several years later. Believe it or not I still consider SIRIXM to be a relative youngster when it comes to subscription services.
