Ya....(laughing). It took us a few days to get it set up the way we like and then get the old head wrapped around it. They have a good help section. Take it item by item and you will do just fine. It is like getting out of a 57 Chevy and getting into a space ship. In addition, you can set that up any way that you want. Be sure and set it up with layout manager and save the layout as your default. The sample screens I think are geeky.

Here is how I have mine set up:

5 charts, L2 and stock quotes. This way I can pop up anything and back down with a mouse click.

I don't see any advantage having order entry on the screen because it opens with a click of the mouse.

(The pic is just a serving suggestion like on a can of spaghetti sauce).

This software has so much that it takes a while to get used to it. It is a real wealth of information.

saro's probablly going to keep going down tomorrow, but it seems like a real company because they do post their stuff publically. think i should just hold it, forget about it and hope a PR comes out in the next month?

it seems like they started to get serious in march of this year and have posted a PR at least once a month (2x last month) i guess i'll hope it consolidates and wait for a PR hopefully in 2-4 weeks

Ie. you don't get 2x, or the 3x on the direxion funds. During low volatility you may get 1.5x and high volatility 3x or so. Also, because it is mulitplied - if you go in the long direction, and take a loss, its really hard to come back.

ie. say underlying IYR rises 25% and theoretically at 2X SRS drops 50% and say both started at $100. IYR needs to fall back 20% to get back to $100. SRS needs a 100% to get back to $100. But if its 2X of IYR, it would only gain 40%. IYR would have to continue to plummet way farther to get that other 60% for SRS.

It's tough, so keep it to trades under a week I'd say.

Check out SRS vs. URE - they should be opposite right... yet if you shorted both from the beginning of this chart - you'd be up in both of them. It seems that if you went long both or short both, you'd be even, but its not the case.

I think folks have caught on to this, so I think you can't actually short them any more - but that was a rumor I heard.

I've lost more than I've earned on those things. Usually from trades lasting more than a few days. They actually had to reverse split FAZ.
Thank you for your insight, after watching SRS for about a week now, I am seeing patterns on some days where you don't even want to hold it overnight.
I have to admit it is nice to see something out there consistently dropping and popping and flopping all over the place.

Thanks again for the info, it should help me out a lot!!

Hey Bill, I had a penny stock pop up on Tuesday morning under the google/finance/popular list. I forgot to right it down so it took a little while to find it again. You may like this one LOL!!! CBIS
I will say this, it sure went up in smoke the past few days!!

This is going to sound a bit hypocritical of me, but Sean that's two posts in a row where you're talking about HOPE as your reason for keeping this stock.

I hope you're right about it.

I'm thinking MGLG is just warming up. Instead of dropping their load on the big pr, they decided to turn everyones attention back slowly with a nibble and then the big one if they were to drop the flow #'s and the sp takes off, alot of people might sell because it's been so low for so long. Slowly bring it up alittle then BAM. This will benefit all because the platform for the spike will be higher. Just my uneducated opinion

They were watching the stock price and needed a boost, so this one is intended to hold up the fort until production numbers. It was really encouraging to hear this after I sold a bunch of my MGLG yesterday. At least I didn't have to rebuy back in today.

I am at .0003, so there is no need for me to chase this even though it may go up a ton. I can take what I cashed out yesterday and put it in to something else. If I bought more now it would bring my average up. 760K isn't many shares, but it is better than a sharp stick in the eye.

Sean, you have a shitload of volume on it. Stocks do go down and then back up.

You are all ready down a couple of cents, so if it were me...and just me...I would hold, but that is your call.
