I always thought Lenny was on the juice as far back as his met days . . the analysts today who think roids only came in with Brady Anderson are nutz . . been around in BB since Ricky Henderson first laced-up his spikes, maybe even back to Reggie
I've seen it and it's crazy, and yes we all knew he was juiced the last year with the Mets then came to Phils and ballooned up big time..it was a running joke on talk radio here..The roids have been around since late 60's early 70's.all the Steelers from those super bowl teams in 70's were on it,it's something like 17 to 20 guys from that team are dead from them..Lyle alzado, and many many more in football...baseball i would say early to mid 80's it started with alot of players.

How are you doing tonight, Johnny? Any plans for the weekend?
Rain, rain and more rain here in Michigan, land of the Great Lakes. There's one in my front yard right now.
    Hope all is well,
    Julie

People making a big deal over the Pandora and Siri apps, i cant be the only person that got a lifetime service 2 years ago so already have internet included for life and i paid $10 bucks once for Pocket Tunes app (what are they ranked btw?) and i have Howard plus whatever else i want on Siri on my IPhone.

Anyway, Sirius future is dependent on two things and two things only. Does Stern re-sign, and can Siri avoid a R/S without getting delisted. The rest is all window dressing.

I live in San Antonio...Lately, i have been numerous restaurants with SiriusXM blasting...I make sure I let them know that this beats the hell out of Musac and taped reruns over and over. Freddy's burgers is a national chain...playing a 50's channel from Siriusxm.

I think people are being shortsided when they look at OEM figures of 10-10.5M per year...with the Autonation, carmax, and cpo programs now in place with almost every major manufactuer...Might as well count these programs with the OEM channel. Could possible see another 1.5-2.0M subs from these new programs for 3rd and 4th qtr...giving us a run rate closer to 11.5-12.5M.

I take back everything bad I've said about Michigan...please send us that rain...10 straight of 101+ here in San Antonio, with finally a 20% chance of rain.LOL

Remember...it could be worse...the lakes could still be frozen with 50 gazillion feet of snow on the ground!

    have a great weekend

The 50 gazillion feet of snow is coming up, probably in October. I can't wait.
I really enjoy the feeling of numb cheeks and a frozen nose. Oh and the ice on my windshield is especially a joy to scrape when the wind chill is 20 below.

Johnny will have to change his. I'm not moving.

Hoping for rain in San Antonio,

    Julie

P.S. Johnny needs a cap on his dog, I need a bow on mine. Where's Charles?

Agreed, the 3rd thing is making money. As I have said in the past, SIRI hasn't returned one bleeping cent of value to us stockholders. The debt load is handled for 3 years or so. SIRI needs to make money - period.

High of 68 today, low of 47 with a chance of showers - a good day to weed the vegetable garden. Just read an article that the lakes are full again after being down for the most part of 10 years. The good news is that the water will flow down your way eventually.
