The BDI has made a nice jump up, and the VIX is still hanging in the 20's.

Oil is holding up strong for now, and the airlines moved up too.

I guess the recession is over LOL!!

Have a good one guys / gals!!!

I was shocked today with the BDI. The boats were climbing like rocket ships there for a while.

Recession over? O.K., if you say so Jim. I feel better all ready. J/K

We are just getting a warm up for the real thing!

Yeah, I should not joke around, especially when I posted those job numbers a few weeks back.

I guess we should expect this during earnings.

RAMS was the only one that just sat there.

I was just joking with you! I thought what you said was rather hilarious.

We might as well laugh now. Maybe we will all be lucky enough to be assigned to the same labor camp and talk about the old days in Market Thread and the stocks we won and lost on in the soup line.

I would like to buy gold, but it moves so damn slow...you have to poke it with a stick to make it budge...kind of like the old blue dog. I love that movie "The Gods must be crazy", where they found a coke bottle that got thrown out of a bi-plane and the natives found it. It became the most valued item in the whole tribe.

Everything is of relative value...money, women, whiskey and cars.

If you want to see a movie with real meaning (it is a low budget movie, but it really gets the point across) then check out "Idiocracy". It will show you our future and how to solve it. No kidding!

    Excellent movies Bill!!!

I know, you know, I am joking around, but some readers might misinterpret my smart ass remarks.

Last post for the night I think,

Keep an eye on CORS, I don't know how to read this one, not familiar with the company at all. But if you want some entertainment, it might be worth keeping an eye on.

I didn't even look at the chart on CORS, but it is definitely a watcher. I have had it up to my ass with holding companies (ABK for example), but on a buyout with BAC looking over it, there is some possibility. It will take a little DD. It is worth looking in to. You have a great eye, so I am comfortable with what you say.

I have to work tomorrow, for the most part. Guys, keep the information flowing and the questions as usual. We are a great team!

We have a lot of talent in this thread. Everybody counts, new or old. Tell it like it is and ask questions. There should be people here for you.

    Bcle

If you get a chance, post on the spoke's discussion group at least once or twice.

This will help with the price of bcle (just my and Bass's opinion).

    It could help.

As she should! What are you doing spending money you don't have and intended for a set purpose in the market?

Sean, I know you are young and ambitious but there are some savvy and wise 'elders' here .. I am not quite one of them, short of being older. Get one thing into your head and save yourself some future pain - Don't play games with your money and as far as it is possible keep yourself OUT OF DEBT!

To my knowledge I had no idea this is what you were doing - It is foolishness - Going into debt to play in the market? That money is for your damn education son, what, you would rather suffer and become less intelligent? You think it's just a matter of hitting that home run and all will be well? It's a fine line between investing and gambling ... You are gambling with house money - The adage is "Do not invest what you can't afford to LOSE".

And you cannot afford it ...
