There really is no point in arguing this anymore. Diametrically opposed in the way we see the world.
Ya, I was never for ethanol, but Im smarter than most people.
Ive been reading all the points. I think we have the issues, we are simply debating the importance and the order of their undoing. It all plays into it.
Lloyd, dont underestimate the labor costs involved, and others should realize that to stay number 1 they needed a more diverse product line. And for Irish, yes, fat management greed played a good role too here.
I think we are all right, just debating the order, thats all.

You are putting WAY too much stock in one article about one power plant project. Not saying the article is of no value, but, c'mon, it's ONE article and is very pointed in discussing the issues surrounding this one project in Europe, with a few general comments about nuke. Hardly definitive. Like I said earlier, a very complex issue. I believe nuke power is a potential solution to elec energy needs. Needs to be built right and operated safely. The US track record is actually very good. And, there will be a solution to the waste issue...it's a natural outgrowth of expansion of the use of the technology. There's a $ incentive to develop both.

We could get into a whole other discussion about how and why the things happened in that era. I am sure we totally disagree but that is way to far out. We are already to far out.

Anyone think the car and truck sales are worse than expected?
Yes Airman and those same founders thought that only white men were created equal and women didn't count and Black men were only 2/3rd of a man..It's called evolving into what is learned and right thing to do..

You haven't read much about those founders have you? If you have then we either read much different material or we just plain disagree.
Again there is a weeks worth of arguments loaded here

One note though. can you point to something that backs up your assertion
"Black men were only 2/3rd of a man"?
    .

I guess you dont have an opinion on the SIRI related question huh?

Thanks for reading at least. Its a cautionary tale is all I have been trying to
say. I think its actually a very illuminating article. So what if its ONE article.
To deny its importance is a little flippant i believe. There continue to be problems of cost and safety. I would love for it to be not true. You must also remember that Nuclear requires a lot of water and yes there are many stories about future water supply problems.
No perfect solutions but we have to get off coal and gas as quickly as possible I believe. China has got a death grip on the world right now with
    all the coal they use.

the news today is not new, those of us here knew that already,it had to turnaround...we already have discussed this adnauseum in earlier threads. The ccompany and street view of this stock are 2 completely different things..this news will help the street(investors)get a much clearer picture of future SXM bussiness model and profitability in the future,of which even company execs can't give guidance on...

No one was saying it wasnt relevant.

You were the one saying it was so so important that if you "felt" someone had not read it and they had not said the specifically had read it that they were ignorant as a whole on the subject.
