I can agree with that and dont doubt that that was the reason at all. The problem is it cost them being profitable by now.

Never heard my take? I have been screaming for this app for 12 months because I think it is super important. How could that have possibly been missed?

Now what do you want me to say? They have taken way to long to get it to market. I cant comment more because I still haven't seen it.

The #4 download rank for blackberry is a good start but isnt Pandora and slacker #1 and #3? They were last time I checked. From what I hear from consumers, they aren't all that thrilled with the limited capabilities of the XM app. This company needs to give people more of an incentive to get these applications to the top of these lists. Its going to be damn impossible to pass the likes of slacker and pandora in the iphone app store but it is essential IMO. I would like to see them bleed money to get to that #1 spot because that spot is infectious.

Did you guys know that 10x more people click a top listing in google then the #2 spot and 100x more then the #3 spot? Imagine 10,000 vs 1000 vs 100. Not a spot you want to be in.

Charles we will see vwhat the rank is when the new 3.0 os is introduced on june 8th i believe,hopefully the SXM app will be released and everyone has to have new updated app to work on it ,Right?

Because of GM BK. I personally don't think SIRI will hit the teens, but that's what's causing the doom and gloom crowd to shake in their boots. GM BK is a huge thing and is hurting a lot of companies. No surprise that SIRI is getting clobbered because of it. It's an obvious cause and effect scenario. I hear the conspiracy theories, but don't buy it. Weak hands heading for cover. They'll be back!

The only thing wrong with this theory is that in the short term it is good for SIRI's bottom line. Subs were going to be anemic this year anyway. I know it isn't your theory.

Must I spell it out for you. Free apps of course have an advantage over paid apps. If they charged as much for the XM app, and the XM app was free, Slacker would be number 100, whiile XM would be #1.

So 20 million free downloads, vs. 4 million pay downloads. Want to guess which one makes more money? Do you have the numbers exactly o hand? I was just guessing. Dont take those numbers as actual, total just trying to show you the huge difference. Now if your argueing getting your app downloaded is more important, and SiriusXM NEEDS to be number 1 to stay viable, then you could combat this with allowing it to be free, with a free trial period. But I still dont think you meant that they need to be number 1 to stay relevant. Because that would be crazy.
