i've always been a fan of howard since i was a wee lad growing up in boston.

sirius was a must have come the christmas before stern came over. i've been a sub since then.

when i heard about the bk scares this past december, i knew they weren't going to go under. they had just completed an long drawn out much needed merger and were working towards getting everyone on the same page. so i grabbed a couple grand worth at .13

fast forward to feb of this year, i wake up and check my portfolio and siri is at .06 and i'm wondering wtf is going on. i do some DD and come to find out that Malone is going to most likely give them a bridge loan or i'm losing everything....so i backed up the truck right before the longest weekend ever(presidents day). i still kick myself in the ass for not selling on that following tuesday but whatever, it definitely came back over .22

i'm still holding my main position at .13 but i've been playing around big time with the second position. the second one is surprisingly still avg'd at .26 but i've made a shitload of moves over the past month. too many actually.

this thing is 10x harder to guess than it seems. i swear it's only me and MM's sometimes....but that's a whole different thread.

abridged version: i believed in the company.

    Julie, Julie, Julie.......

    My Siri Story...

I bought into this stock when I was 22. Prior to that I was an avid roulette player and quite good or "lucky" at it. However I soon began to realize that the odds would always be against me and I was going to lose at some point. So I took my winnings and opened up an investment account!

Embarrassing as it is I got into this stock at 3.02 because of cramer pumping the stock as a lottery ticket poised for $5 post merger. Anyway we all know the bumpy ride in between. Once the stock plummeted down to the .22 - .10 I started buying hard. Increasing my position from 1280 shares at 3.02 to 100,000 shares at .16...

I also believe in the business model, Mel, and the product as a whole. Sat Rad as of today, most people think is crazy to pay for... People thought the same about cable, now people are paying between $40 - $140 a month. It is just a matter of time until sat rad becomes mandatory!

Now for the gambling side of me, I figured this stock to be what I have been looking for. A penny stock that would allow me to buy a substantial amount of shares and afford me large gains. I believed the risk/reward was worth it so I began to use cash advances on my visa lol and am now up over 119%!!! Foolish I know but hey it paid off! Also the poor Canadian dollar helps out a lot too !

Now this Canadian boy with a US address is still trying to figure out a way to get Sirius XM....... The search continues!

    Dear Hopefull,
Unbelievable you had the vision to invest in stock at the age of 22! When
I was 22 my biggest concern was what I would wear that day.
I agree with you about SatRadio becoming mandatory. People resisted
cable until they got it, now I can't imagine being without it.
I thought of getting cash advances on my Visa, when it went down to
.06, I was frustrated I had nothing extra to buy shares. I came sooo
close to buying more but I just couldn't do it. I promised myself I
wouldn't use my card this year, so I resisted. It was hard!! But I did
buy a lot at .09 so that was good. What is it about this stock that is
so addicting? Thanks for your story. Amazing.
    Julie
