exactly only your little group of believers gets into heaven, any1 raised hindu or buddhist or my god muslim has no chance of going to heaven. even if they dedicated their entire life to helping the poor or some other really good deed. Im sorry but that is a very sad and small view of the world. The problem comes when u are so sure of your beliefs that u will condemn other people for not having them. Thats when religion crosses the line. Maybe you should have a little humility and admit to yourself the fact that there is always the possibility you could be dead wrong. I tend to think of humans as ants when it comes to god, how does an ant interpret a man walking over them and casting a shadown down on their little world, or a car rolling over an ant, how does he know wtf is going on. It's the same thing with god and man, if u feel better filling your head with this stuff good for you, as for me id rather accept what i dont know.

and i would rather be optimistic and have faith in something instead of living life depressed that there is nothing to look forward too

If you named ANY other source, I would have taken it seriously. As it is wikipedia, I have to immediately discount it. As for the history of CC, I am not familiar other than the traditional information. Sorry. I would have to say no comment on that, as I would need to research it. But I can, and will get back to you. You touch on an excellent point. Depends on the muslim. Depends on the hindu. I cant judge men, I can only point out known sins. Period. Thats not judging, thats factual statments. If I see a red wall, and I say hey, thats a red wall, am I judging the wall? Of course not. How can I know what the relationship between the one god and any person is. There are quotes from the bible that lead me to believe that if a person has never been exposed to Jesus's, God has arranged for this person a way to heaven anyway. What they would be, or what path, I dont know. But to openly choose to ignore or turn your back on god, after being exposed to his teachings, his wisdom, and insight is something entirely different. I do have a little insight into how God sees us. From the Old Testament I can gather he views us as his children. Some he loves, some he doesnt. But he will never deny his kingdom to anyone, they simply must choose to be humble before their creator, and follow his demands. Most people cant accept this, and never choose to be humble. If you believe in a creator, you must think he has a plan. He must think he doesnt like being thought of as imaginary. And you must assume his word must find its way to his people, but since he doesnt want robots, it must come from man himself.(and spread by man). He could come down and do a little jig, do a thousand miracles, and have people follow him. Not what he wants, nor does that reveal true followers. Just people submitting like a robot to things they feel they had no choice in choosing. O , on the contrary. God wants us all to have a choice. Thats why Being American and being christian always went hand in hand. Why this country was so great and morally strong. Now look at us.

Thats called being passive. Your allowing "powers" you suspect might be their to decide your fate. You should decide your own fate. The search for the truth should be a life long endeavor. Dont leave your eternal soul to chance.
