I was enjoying our discussion and would like to continue more in the future. I'm babysitting my little nephew now and had some other stuff going on earlier, but we can continue our discussion in bits and pieces over time on here. I'm fascinated with people's beliefs and you seem like you have reflected quite a bit on your own....
We will continue in the future as time allows......looking forward to it. I wish I would have had more time today to type longer more well thought out posts....

I think Bush's initial reaction to 9/11 was spot on, in terms of where we went, Afghanistan. Beyond that it gets shady as some things that were done could be argued as hurting our security, not helping it. Overall, I felt safe enough when Bush was in office and I have seen nothing as of yet to not feel safe with Obama. It's not like he came into office and said "no more intelligence reports please, we are fine"
One feeling I do have is I think Dick Cheney is pure evil, or close to it, and wouldn't give any credit to anything he would say. This guy would kill more Americans if it continued to further his cause imho
One big issue in this country, and this thread, is how quickly it breaks down from reasonable debate to personal insults because so many can't believe their side could be wrong and feel the necessity to take credit for anything good that has been accomplished. We have to be better than that.
His initial reaction was to sit on his dopey ass and finish listening to a book being read to kids. Now thats retarded.
That's dangerous when societies break down into tribes......then the next step is ethnic cleansing etc..
