I guess those old Wells Fargo commercials with the guys driving the stagecoach with shotguns in hand wasn't too far from the truth!

    Doobz,

Do what you want - but I feel the need to tell you what I just went through getting OUT of HELLS FARGO...

They will rape you with fees... it costs something like 34.95 for penny stocks - unless you have a high enough balance in your account (which no one I know has) - it took me a couple months to escape them - and I even spent some time trading with Sharebuilder (better than Wells - but not nearly as nice as TD Ameritrade).

I wish you luck - just hoping to save some of you the pain I just went through... I switched to TDA - have 505 free trades for the transfer, no extra fees for large orders or penny stocks - and it has the best trading tools and education site I've found....

I am truly happy with my new TDA account... it's like having lightning at your fingertips..

Oh... and Wells charged me 70 dollars because I transferred out of them... after those bastards stalled my attempts to shift into both ING and TDA.... I will never ever touch wells again...

    JMHO

    hmm

Maybe everyone should be putting in small buys of 100 shares at $2.00 rather then sells? Seems like that would have more of an effect then the sell orders.

My trading program with fidelity won't let me put in a sell or a buy with a price difference of more or less then 30% from the current price.

I have used TDA for the last year. 10 bucks per trade no matter what... 1 share or 10 million... Rick... just a note... the TDA free trades are for 30 days then they expire.

I don't think it would fill at the market price if it is a limit order will it? I actually have never tried this so really don't know....Actually, now I need to think about this, because if it would fill at $2 it seems like someone would have already tried that!!

Paratrooper Rick, I am currently with ING, I am interested in transferring over to TDA. Any tips on promotions, the cost to transfer between the two? How much time will I not be able to make trades during the transition? Any other info you might find useful. I dont know if they are like ING but I will be happy to pm you my email if they offer any referral bonus for you.

    Thanks in advance
    JB
