I think I paper traded for a good two years before I ever actually bought a stock. Learning as much as I could along the way. Of course since then I've lost most of my common sense but seemed to have retained all of my stubbornness!
I'm going to head off for awhile and see if I can get this toddler of mine down for a wee nap and make it look like I've actually gotten something done at home today!
Huge orders in after hours. That is unusual, lately. Close and AH makes me think tomorrow might be a good day.
As a large accelerated filer they have 40 calendar days after the end of quarter to file the 10Q, which makes the filing date Monday, May 11th at latest (unless they file for an extension again, but I don't see a reason why they would this time).
Edit: date correction to 11th (I had 15th before which is incorrect).

Either way - at some point SIRI will get up where we know it should be. Once the weak hands are gone and the MM's are contending with real buying..... on the large side....
Now is the time to get positioned for the higher numbers. I'm shifting things around right now to try and pull in another 20-30K shares....
So I go to the dentist to get a new crown, and come home to discover the MM's painted a nice picture at the end of the day.
On the earnings question, I would imagine that Sirius will wait as long as possible to see if these OEM deals spur sales so they canaccellerate guidance. Make no mistake. Q1 will be a net loss of subs on better bottom line revenue.
If however the company can guide higher on increased auto sales and apple apps, it will be a good report.
Also, we saw today that Sirius has applied to have their service broadcast through the XM infrastructure, which inevitably will lead to billions in cost savings and could also mean that the Sirius infrastructure may go up for sale in a year or so, say to Liberty Media.

I was under the impression, from many here, that the two systems were incompatible. If they can, it is big news indeed. Maybe trade Sirius infrastructure for some preferred notes and maybe some cash? They've got to be worth more than $530 Million.... Don't they?
Good news and bad news from the TA front.
Bad news is that wedge was solved(down sorry, thank GM for that, and Business Week) and a new one is forming. If they are intent on another consolidation period, this one woulndt be due to break late this week, or next week.
Good news.
Upchannel is still relavent, and in play.
SiriusXM is still respecting the 13 MDA, and its sloping sharply up still.
