Sirius is a complicated company. Need a lot of forms, LOL. Chill man... Seriously...
no article on such things. Like I said, if it happens it happens. I'm not going to lose sleep over it. I think its a good thing. Might as well get it over with, although I'd like to see it at .80 or better when it happens.

That one point is very true - the R/S is the one thing right now that is looming like a dark cloud... I was doing really good at blocking the thought of it until you brought it back up...

Fingers crossed it doesn't happen soon although part of me also wants that hurdle over with..

Yes. No R/S till then. Thats my target. They wont even let if fail to break $1 if they were smart. As it goes past .80 cents, R/S, keep momentum. Screw the shorts. My last target sell price will be whatever the 200 DMA is when it gets there. Probably be around .80 cents actually.

OK, If I understand RS, an example would be if you had 100 shares worth 20 cents each they could make the quantity down to 20 shares and right when that happened your stock would be worth a buck per share.....right?
Is it all perception from that point that it would go back down or what, not sure I understand the down side to this for sure....any help for stupid me would be appreciated. Lay it on me hard I have plenty of duct tape to wrap around my head and keep it from exploding.

    R/S

O.K., you think there won't be a R/S until we reach 80 cents.
But what is the difference between do it today at 33 cents, or next month at 50 cents or sometime later this year at 80 cents /
I thought it had something to do with the fact that we are under a buck and we would face delisting.

Most reverse splits fail. By most I am talking about 80% of them. It is not the reverse split itself that causes the failure, but rather the failure of the individual company itself.

Most reverse splits are implemented with a single purpose. To maintain listing requirements with an exchange such as the NYSE and NASDAQ.

Most of these destined to fail companies have a common problem. High debt and no income. They also cannot attract new money as their business models are the reason these companies are forced into reverse splits.

Having said that, 20% of R/S are successful. When a R/S is done to lessen the number of outstanding shares they tend to work.'

Sirius XM is a billion dollar company with 2.4 billion dollars in annual revenue. It's debt has been managed well. The only reason that the stock trades at such a low price is that it has too many outstanding shares.

A reverse split in SIRI's case would benefit the shareholders. As far as the concept, you got it.

Posted on your last article, but it was deleted!! Was off topic but, can you write an article about your experience at SiriusXM HQ. Keeping the information that you and Paul discussed private, so as not to let unwanted company info put out before they want it too. Maybe, generalize your thoughts!!!!

Also, went to eat last night with my family, Hamburger place in San Antonio had SiriusXM business. People sitting next to me thought the music was awesome but stated it was a shame that SXM had filed for BK. I politely let them know that not only had they not filed BK, but they were fixing to put out an Iphone app and could possible be PCF for 2009? There response was an Iphone app will be huge for them. 2 of 4 patrons at that table had Iphones! Also, spoke with the manager. Ask her when they had switched to SiriusXM. She said they had it for about 2 weeks now and the patrons absolutely love it. She said that they get 2-3 compliments each day about how the music is awesome!

I'm sorry, but I deleted it myself. I meant to send you a private message. What gives you the idea that I had any type of private conversation with Paul? In fact, I brought a friend. The last thing I want them to think is that I made up a story regarding my visit, because I felt fortunate that they welcomed me. Most people don't get in but they were gracious enough to have given me a great hat and show me around. I'm sure I never mentioned any private meetings. I was given a private tour of the studio and offices. Shirley was lovely.

Also, the Sheraton New York also had Sirius XM playing in the restaurant.
