We have a saying in the airborne - "slip away"

It's when you're drifting off the drop zone or toward a hazard (in this case a continuing unecessary argument) and need to "slip" by pulling a set of risers..... to guide your parachute in another direction....

Now would be a good time to "slip away".............

The ECB on the other side will not follow the FED, at least till now, they are still too much worried about inflation and I think they could be right. What do you think ?
As for the negotiations between the German goverment and GM about Opel,
they are closer to an agreement and Geithner and Guttenberg are on the same page, I don't know whether this is good for GM or not, but I think so.
While nationalization is of the table here in the US, the German Goverment just announced the nationalization of Hypo Real Estate Bank ( 25% owned by an US-Hedge-Fund "Flowers").
    I would appreciate your thoughts.
Sounds like GM needs Opel like Chrysler needs Fiat..... Both European companies bring the American Auto Companies what they are missing in energy efficient technologies for their line of cars... to compete in that market here... I wouldn't look for any deals with the American Car companies until the Fed's here agree to keep them out of BK....

I learned a while ago, 2 Opel models are already available in the US , sold as Saturn, but then I heard Saturm would be closed as part of the restructuring.
Ford on the other side did take into consideration to sell smaller German models here in the US , but abandoned the plan after gasoline prices came down.

Ford wanted to bring a euro version of the focus or fiesta I dont remember for sure, it was a diesel motor that got something like 63mpg and actually looked like a nice small car, but the epa would not let it happen

You are right. There is also the Ford Ka, very popular overseas, like the Mercedes Smart, but it is always the same with small cars in the US, they don't want it mainly because of safety concerns.

That was weird. It was part of a 10K order that I had filled at 0.3005 in AH. I have a string of 20 partial fills of 400 shares like that and I saw it alternate between .29 and .3005 that on the Nasdaq board. Just the MM's playing their MM games I guess.

LVWR has thinned a bit. Insider buys are what keeps me interest in that. They really loaded up. So for under .10, its a buy and hold for me. Or course the volume is low enough that you kind of have to hold it, lol. Their annual meeting is soon, May I think? Something should happen on or before that date.

Cos, you need to check yourself as well. So it is ok in your mind to attack someone but not to defend someone? I guess forum etiquette in your mind is:
    1. If someone is getting attacked you may only attack and pile on.
    or STFU.

    2. And if you break rule one and respond to the attacker and defend, then the rules are that people that are not the respondee are required to refer to part one of rule 1 and apply it to you.

    3. There is a variance to rule 2. You may defend the attacker.

And I didnt say you give a SHAT. That is why I didn't address you.

I never said john needed to prove his character. I said of what he showed of it was not good.
The reference to Marine is that many include in their posts things that don't need to be proven. If you don't believe them fine ... but you should not be calling people liars here.

By the way you may have missed the beginning of this particular thread and it was directed not to john, but to another user as a good natured jibe(hence the smiley face) to someone I had thought I was on a more friendly terms.

And to my surpise that leads to
rule 4. You can apply rule 2 and 3 to friendly jibes as well.

Then after going away the person whom I originally responded. Said don't let it get to you ... see ya tomorrow. When I got here. Yet another poster was calling me out yet once again.

But of course you have explained it all ... I caused it all.
I had the gall to defend a new user and later rib a friend. refer to rule 1 ,2 and 4
