When I buy a lottery ticket (if I buy one) I usually lose and tear it up, whole thing taking at most a week of my life. This has been YEARS unlike many of you, of painful and hopeful hopelessness... but I have always been and will continue to be a LONG TERM INVESTOR. I am doing my best to trade some dips with some extra disposable income, but my core position remains the same. I sincerely object to your assertion that I implied my investment is a lottery ticket. It is unpredicatable but my chances of making a profit within a few years (if not before) are high in my estimation. You could never say that about a lottery ticket airman...

also for the lier who said they have 1.1 million shares at a cost average of .10, please enough already. nobody believes you

    thanks

LOL!!!! It is me...edeyoung99. I said it. It is very true, but it wasn't because I ewas smart or lucky. I have been following many of your convos and never believed in the bk scare. Maybe I am dumb, but whatever. Thank you to all those who had POSITIVE input.

Either way - we were looking at a slight pullback - but I still expect us to head upwards today.

I did not say you thought your investment was a lottery ticket. I have no idea how much you bought or when.

BUT you did imply(actually flat out said) that a new investor(the college kid) investing a small amount was akin to a lottery ticket. Actually saying that it was Stupid to do so actually.

My question was how many people think that making an investment(whatever the amount) now is akin to a lottery ticket. I personally whole heartedly do not! But with the skidish nature of what I have read and seeing the sells pick up when we get pullbacks or extended stalls makes me wonder what others think.

You are right I havent been in "years" but I was down pretty big until I got conviction that the BK scare was only that a scare and bought in enough to get my av down. I have never sold(to me I am stupid for not putting in a stop loss on a spec stock) until this morning when I sold a small portion and only did that because my wife insisted that I get some of our discretionary funds back for her to use. And I tried to argue to wait a little longer to no avail.

hehehe I have had dreams that I had 1 mil shares at my .125 av .... had thoughts of pulling money out of the house to do it. Then had thoughts of the box I could be living in. Of course I wouldnt call the person a liar. You never know.
