Agreed. He is in no hurry to convert. Him converting could be seen as a double edged sword.
    1. He thinks BK is now impossible.
    2. He thinks the SP might not go up anymore, so he converts now.

These things contradict, so I would assume as the sp goes up, BK is even more impossible, numbers are great, and Malone now feels he wants to benefit financially from the SP and common ownership.

Thank you sl62 , john, and others who decided common sense should prevail here, and not the rantings of lunacy.
    BOOOYYAOAOOOHHHH.
How interesting....both his articles pulled from Seeking Alpha.....yet the street.com is allowed to further shit on SIRIXM with their article on Clearwire! It's truly sickening what is being done to this company.....regardless of what Mel has or has not done to let info flow!

thank you all for your input, as it has been very valuable, and even though the price was coming down it was comforting to have you guys alongside for the ride..
now we hope to finally see some light thanks to the deal today..as for Brandon, I think even he knows that it was born from Cos' thread into an article..While we can discuss these possibilities in a forum, I dont think they should be published in the mass media..
Now I have a question for you guys,
Why isnt the SP not going much higher as expected...2009 debt cleared and its just 0.14...By the way I bought 10K yesterday at .13, do i feel smart now, hahaha (at least once or twice I got it right)
    thanks again
    fugo...

see my post above...MM's don't just give it up sometimes. But don't worry, this SP will run, we just don't know when. Also Q/K still to come out. Might wait until after that but edge higher in the meantime. I prefer solid gains from here over time than suckers pop. Let's get it right and then we take the hill back for good.

God, this is music to my ears right here!!

    >>Mel Karmazin, Chief Executive Officer of SIRIUS XM Radio, said, "We are excited to have closed the second and final phase of our investment agreement with Liberty Media. It is an example of the confidence our lenders and Liberty have in our business model. These transactions resolve all of the uncertainty surrounding the company's and its subsidiaries' debt maturing in 2009. Having addressed our near-term financial obligations, we remain focused on continuing to deliver on all the promise of the merger of SIRIUS and XM -- a more efficient company offering the best programming through new packages to more subscribers."<<

Brandon...are you listening to my music, sucker????

Looking at it from a stictly valuation standpoint... Sirius is up 79% today. That's a pretty big gain for one day It's the pill that Sirius holders have to swallow for doing the deal to stave off bankruptcy.

The terrible market conditions and lack of overall investor confidence in the market as a whole only compound the situation as well.

Im glad they pulled the BK scare article. Actually showing some responsibility. Now no one else can read the drivel. Thanks for sticking to common sense yesterday asm610. Your support was much appreciated. Go SiriusXM. Todays gain is not impressive, volume is not impressive. I think as I said, someone has to spell it out to the retailers on this one. Going to be a war every day. Reload, retrench in, and lets advance to the line were given. If .14 cents is given, lets hold it. And move on from here.

I agree.....trying to decide where to cut loose some other stocks doing terribly and reinvest in SIRI short term to go along with my long term shares.....and no thanks needed, as you help me to weather the storm as others do when it sometimes gets really tough to keep at this.
