i think more regulation will probaly get some of the shorts out and bring back some longs. Dont forget lack of regulation is why we're in this mess.

Tripp...I dont what to think...but Im willing to let anyone try at this point even Obama....I am a American born Italian my family helped build this country literally brick by brick.... Im am 50 years old and worked everyday I ever wanted too! Started as a Carpenter Building houses in California in the late 70's, Florida and Texas in the 80's and actually did my first highrise for Frey Machanical in Houston...Holiday Inn ...San Felipee and the 610 freeway... I think.. I was a superintendent on the Venetian Hotel and Casino $1.8 billion, I was a superintendent for Flour Daniels at the Aladian Hotel and Casino $1.2 billion. over 3 billion of commerical construction at the age of 44.. I thought I had it made... I been doing retail for Abrombie & Fitch.....until Dec..Now I don't have a job....Im peddleing Work clothes on e-bay, Its winter right now things are always little slow anyway...but I'll will be alright because I will hustle work when spring hits.... but what the F...K happened.... I feel like... I dont whats it gonna be....Im a survivor so Ill never give up and it will work.. but If this could happen to me.. its happening to a lot of people..who maybe wont be able to work or hustle through it... But I never ever thought i see anything like this mess.... So the President has my back...and I like your train of thought and respect your views....

On that note i gonna make me a Very spicy Absoult Bloody Mary....A little warm up for Super Bowl Sunday!!!

well this happened to me in 2001, im a relatively young guy, i got into telecom in 1999 at 17 with my father, was making 29 an hour by 2000 which is alot for a 18 year old kid, by 2001 the dot com crash and the bubble burst and 911 happened and it left my business dead, it wasnt till late 2002 i got a job in telecom again and my pay was a whopping 90 dollars a day flat, i would work 12-14 hours a day no ot for 90 bucks, and that was just a 2 month contract, not to mention it was a 1099 job so i ended up of course falling behind on my taxes because well that was the only real job i got in 2002 and of course the money made waas gone as soon as gotten and nothing left to pay taxes with. Things have slowly gotten better but i still have to deal with 6 months of the year looking for a telecom contract. The fact that obama is pouring money into increasing our wifi structure makes me hopeful i might see some more work in my industry. Things might have gone bad for everybody recently, but 2001 was the start and we still really have yet to recover from that crash, and those of us affected by the 2001 crash did not see 2002-2007 as a prosperous time, the reality is for the majority of americans it wasnt a prosperous time. Stocks may have been oh so expensive in 2007 with the dow hitting 14000, but as we all know now that was not because of good business practices but due too corrupt lending practices and oil speculation hitting an all time high. If we grow our economy we have to do it in a way that is sustainable and not going to cause a bubble to burst which wrecks havok on an economy. Regulation helps create this, not over regulation that will only hinder growth, but smart regulation where's it needed to help sustain long term growth in a practical way.

I have a sell for gtxo at .15 if it ever get there...I will wait my adv is .12 so I can get out if I need to... im thinking Ford for the same money...They only lost 5 billion last quater and that 2 billion better then expected...And they say they should turn the corner at the end of 2009...
Anyway Have a good one... talk to you at after the market closes....Im hoping the market turns around in the after noon.. but I wouldnt count on it..

Bill... I wanted to also say Thank you for serving... I had some friends that were also there in vietnam... Its makes me sick to think how you all were treated after you guys returned... I really respected John McCainand thought he was a true American and a Hero for his sacrafices and deserved to try to straighten this Country out with Palin...But I think you right about he was afraid of her over shadowing Him... I think she will return!
    Semper Fi

I haven't looked yet, but I am going to look at Ford. I didn't have the cash today for AIB. I had money on the way besides what I reaped (sounds like a frog) today so majestically from GTXO. 91 big ones! lol

I believe that is a good move on Citi (C). I see in AH that AIB is up to 3.40. I really wanted a piece of that. I will keep my eye on it.

*** There is still one more cycle for financials before 8500 *** as predicted by yours truly.

ABK is doing pretty damn good, but I have seen it slide from 1.2X before, I will check the charts on it later today and see what is shaking.

(The mystical charts - my crystal ball haha)

That sounds so funny...."They only lost 5 Billion, that is 2 Billion better than they anticipated".....Everything is Billions now and Trillions....My God! It makes me feel pretty small when a invest a hundred to a few hundred at a time. Then when I stop and think about, my portion of a company would be a desk lamp, a coffee table or a cheap leather chair for the CEO to park his fat ass in.

So everything is groovy. I have a positive earnings in my portfolio and money on the sidelines (soon as it gets put in there) even with owning SIRI. I think if I woke up and SIRI was green I would have a stroke or would think that I died and went to heaven. I can't wait for it to make money.

Tripps got AIB today....good move, sir.

    In a bit.
