I have 2000 shares of GTXO...I did read what you said...Ill give it sometime.
But when it stops moving it seems like it done!! It moves very slow...

I dont understand with my account I can transfer after I buy at the end of the day and by the time the account settles up in 3 days the money is always there...Thats Banc of America.
Anyway I dont mean to rain on your parade about tomorrow... but that my honest feeling! Which dosent really add up to very much! Good Night... Hey Bill how do you feel about the gov. moving the prisoners of war from Guantanmo to Colorado! I dont think that was a very smart move.... I enjoyed reading DickMorris.com Thanks

It moves slow because it is a small stock. I am going to play around with it for a while.
First about GTXO, there is not much I can do right now. I will hang for a while, because there isn't really much to lose. I want to give it a few days unless it starts sinking.

Prisoners to Colorado? We all ready have some of them in the Super Max, so what is a few more? They aren't getting out of there. What would you do with them? Or like to see done with them? And how would you like to see them tried?

I think the military should trie them....waterboard them when necessary....and keep them at GITMO. They shouldn't have OUR rights and courts and access to secure information.

    Just MHO.

Yes, that is a real problem. They start filing writs and petitions and the seeds that you just mentioned. It is nothing but uphill for them, other than the fact that they cannot communicate with each other. At GITMO they get 2 hours of play together now. At the supermax they will get 1 hour a day by themselves. I see that the ACLU is bitching because they say it will be worse torture at the Supermax. I think the ACLU is filing suit for that purpose.

Also at GITMO they can talk to each other from cell to cell. At the Supermax those days are over. The ACLU doesn't want this more intense torture to happen.

The dems and reps have always been way lopsided. The Reps want huge tax breaks for the rich and business owners, and the Dems always want the tax breaks for the poor. The problem is, anyone who is in the middle gets screwed. Just like you said swarn, everyone gets the help except those that are actually working (and struggling) to better themselves and their families.

Thats why I see myself more as an independant. Help the less fortunate, but regulate it because there is way too much abuse of the system. Tax the rich because they are making all the damn money. Help out those in the middle classes who are struggling and really trying to make a difference.

I really wish I had gotten into BAC when it hit 5.10. I put in a trade for the next day at the same close price, but after and pre market the thing jsut exploded and never had the chance. Oh well... SIRI is showing some promise. Feb is around the corner and we will find out about earnings and debt shortly... Still watching for a good entry into all the other stocks. Today opened great and then lost steam. I know that stimulus bill will make the markets jump tomorrow morning, but will they be able to hold?

I am getting to old for this crap. I don't have that many elections left in me. Think about it. One every four years.

I only have have one or two dogs left in my life, this is my last wife, I am responsible, I own three businesses (small ones) and I am a conservative through and through.

I am defending Bush, he f**ked up big time. I do believe in small government, just want to be left alone and exercise my personal freedoms. I do NOT need a Nanny government. Jindal and Palin 2012.

I belong to teamsarah.org and will go down dying for Sarah.

I respect Tripp's opinions, as a liberal, because that is our entitlement as Americans to make our own choices and our right to speak about it. He has good points and I am willing to listen, but I know where my heart is - I am an investor (chum to most), but I am doing my best. That is what matters to me here, but it's fun to throw it out.

But like you say, Dread, the next four years is an Obamanation and we will regret it, IMHO, when Nanny insists on taking care of our poor little wounds to make it more comforting. I don't need Nanna and I don't want her in my life. Protect the shores and collect minimal taxes.

This is how I see it. 2009 will be a bandaid. Things will look pretty swell. 2010 we will have HYPER-inflation. 2011 we will be digging out again and it will be worse because that is when taxes will raise to help fend off the economic condition. Then this country is going to fall on its ass.

We will be worse off than today. If I needed cough syrup from Nanny I would ask for it. I don't need it administered to me against my free will.

    eh?

Read my prediction for tomorrow....I think it is spot on. May not happen, but it is techno to the max.

As far as the stimulus bill making hay, I wonder, because the market is not following Obama so far. It has really ignored him. Geithner is the only one that has got any attention. The market has reacted in an ignoring way to Obama so far. I don't see much change tomorrow. Same pattern. Let's put it this way. If there is a similar market tomorrow, then wallstreet is just ignoring Obama. If it jumps up on a rally, then there might be some salt to it. Remember, the market doesn't like to be taken care of.

We shall see. You are a really smart person, Newman, so let's let it shake out and we should have a pretty good picture by the end of the day.

I based my prediction above by serious number crunching and trends. I am anxious to see the outcome.

    My respect and regards,

    Bill

I was reading some of tripps posts tonight, and I can go on the offensive, but I respect his views. And I won't lower myself to the bickering level.

Bush really pissed me off with all the spending he did, I am not happy with him at all, but he tried, and did what he felt was the right thing.

About taxes and all, the rich pay like 90% of all of the income taxes in this country.
As far as helping out poor people, right now I am poor, but I have the right to fail. Thats how you learn it life, through failure.

Then you pick yourself back up and start again.

If the government is going to reward failure and punish success, then our country is truly lost to us conservatives.

One comment that tripp made about the dems knowing how to spend money better than repubs, got a good laugh out of me. Because our party use to be frugal, and the dems really do know how to spend and not save a dime.

Have a good night Bill, and take it easy!! I would say no worries, but I might get a defensive response. (kidding)

I should start a new thread over in politics, so we can try and keep the 2 seperate.
