This comes in various forms, e.g., Plato's story about the shadows on the cave wall or the Indian story about 5 blind people and an elephant. The latter story is that five blind people were asked to touch an elephant and relate what they thought about the elephant. One touched the tusk, one the trunk, one the ear, the legs, and the tail. Each had there own (and different) "truth" about the elephant. None of them were wrong and none were correct. In other words, be careful about claiming what the absolute "truth" is of anything - including statements in a 10k. Both of you can read the same paragraph and have completely valid and different takes on the information.
The second thing is the need to be careful about figuring out an "angle" on something. I know some spectacularly brilliant people that have as their mode of learning -- figuring out an angle on something and that's how they quickly understand and grasp the concept (almost always faster than me). The only danger is not recognizing that there can be multiple reasons that motivate someone to do something. In other words, it doesn't happen often, but these people can misread a situation by giving to much weight to one angle. In this case, its Cos saying he sold his shares. Your angle on that relmor is fine -- assuming Cos told truth -- he in fact sold the shares, but is that angle the only way to view COS's statements on this board? I don't know for sure but in my opinion (and that's all it is) I don't think so.
Love to read both of your opinions; they help me great deal. Got to get back to work, talk to everyone later.
Oh yeah, I'm long Sirius & (theoretically) averaged in at 0.09 for 53k shares if you look at my position today. In reality, I've sunk $30k and need a price of .57 to break even.
