I caused it to go up with my bid at .10. If it would have bought, then it would have gone down to .08, but since I didn't get it - up it goes.

as sxminvestor has discovered, I feel that I have magical powers over the stock market as well.
I have found that if I put a limit order in for a purchase, the stock price will usually hang right over that price. If I put in a limit sell, it will quickly drop below the sell price.
For that reason, tomorrow I am going to put in a limit buy price of $5 per share. That shoould instantly shoot the price up and have it hover right about that price so my buy never gets filled.
(Much like my limit buy order for BAC did today)
@Demian: Ha! Given your successful prediction today, I'd like to see you predict that we close at .20 tomorrow!
@Newman: $5? I was under the impression that if we cracked the .99 ceiling it would be end times.
