Even less than half, User. With Liberty at about 63% ownership the float is about 2 Bn and of that about 1.2 bn is held by institutions many of which are holding long positions that don't trade.

Here's my concern and always has been... we know SIRI is doing well. We see it every quarter. My concern is someone like Apple, Google, etc... finally get it "right" with music streaming OR they buy Pandora and figure out how to monetize all those millions of subs. How fast does the market punish Sirius XM?? Again, not stirring it up but damn, it's always on my mind.

p.s. what happened to artists doing MUSIC VIDEOS. Do they even do that anymore?

I hear you. Sure that is one of the concerns but don't think it's a BIG risk, not with Streaming services. That has been the Death Knell of SIRI for the last 5 years. What has SIRI done with this NEW big deal competition......VERY well. SXM17 will put SIRI in a position that no other will be able to achieve. Sat feed with Stream seamlessly....2016...actually 2017

So the problem with Pandora isn't subscribers, it's paying subscribers. Is pandora really having a big problem monetizing those subs? It' interesting how Sirius XM can get people to pay a low monthly fee but Pandora and others can't. I guess content is king. I don't get Pandora at all.
