It's frustrating but when the boys were 2-0 and lost their key players, I told you they were going to reverse that trend. The boys remind me of Sirius XM. So frustrating at times.

Denco, maybe I should have opened my eyes before I expressed confusion on your chart. As I look again, I think I see it is simply a full view from stockcharts on which you have drawn your own resistance and support trend lines. I fully understand now, and I realize that my confusion comes from my reluctance to retain use and familiarity of that stock chart program.... I have essentially drawn the same picture using the Prophet charts at Think or Swim on my TDA account................. I'll wake up sooner or later, and when I do, I'll see about posting a similar chart view from my familiar source.......... DUH, see what happens when you allow your brain to take a break?

    Morning SLY,

Just a candlestick chart with moving averages, trend lines and Fibonacci retrace. Yes, you are correct it is a Stockcharts.com chart. Been using them for years. Comfortable with their charts. Easy to create/use

Honestly, Denco I recall your use of that chart over the past couple or three years, and at one time I attempted to understand how to read it. I think I'm ready now for a refresher; not that I need to have you explain it, but if you can please remind me the name of it and remind me where you obtain the image, maybe I can do some homework and learn how to interpret what you are showing. I think it must be a version found at stockcharts.com, but I need a reminder.

And then, once I learn again how to reap the benefits of that chart, perhaps I can apply it to what Waldo has said.

Thanks to both of you for that wisdom.
I'm in the same boat SLY, I can't pretend to understand all the nuances of the charts and lines and triangles, but I do sort of understand the jist....rising converging lines are generally a good thing I think. Add to the chart with Waldo's synopsis and things start to make sense...so I'm looking out for perhaps some break over $4 in the short term, followed (of course) by some pullback after the CC. Waldo is right - there always seems to be some metric that for whatever reason, pours cold water on an otherwise hot quarter. I expect this quarter will be no different.

On another note, I took my new (used) $6.50 graphite shaft 6 iron for a test drive yesterday in blustery conditions. Did OK over all. 4 bogies, 1 double bogie, and 3 pars in a row on one particular hot streak.. Used that new 6 on a 166 (against the wind) Par three for one of the pars. I drove the green in two on a wind aided par five and promptly 3 putted for my last par. So goes it...(sigh)

Edit #1: for those counting that's 8 holes - I played 3 balls on the last hole so I can't really claim a legit score...but fyi, it was a par 4 and I scored a 4, a 5 and a DNF (lost that one somewhere in the trees) with those three balls.

Nice going, re. that new 6-iron....... I have to confess that I do recall the days when a 6-iron was my stick for 160 plus or minus yards (depending on how much roll I got), BUT, as time has taken its toll on my sagging body, I have had to settle for 10 -15 yards less.............. Enjoy it while you can.......... I'm on for 9:34 tomorrow morning for my first test drive after a rigorous "tune up" last week at GolfTec.......... If yesterday's driving range results are any indication, I think I'm gonna have a good day tomorrow.

If you are scoring under 90 for 18 you are still kicking my a$$ no matter. I've played against a lot of guys that have a few years on me and what they lack in distance with the irons and the boom stick, they make up for with accuracy on the fairways and a deadly flat stick on the green....you guys are usually deadly accurate with that thing! Assassins!
