I can't tell you if my mother or father are proud of me or not. My father passed away 13 years ago and mother passed away 2 years ago. Go figure!?! I will say this, if your mother or father or both are still alive, I recommend you call them every single day just to say hello because one day you will get the call that your mother passed away that night just after talking to her. Also, I will say that if you have the money, go visit them more often.

Toyota deal is a big deal according to Meyer. 5 year deal ensuring a continued relationship with the 3rd largest OEM in the US sounds like a big deal to me as well...

Fed leaves key interest rate unchanged, citing low inflation

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Federal Reserve is keeping U.S. interest rates at record lows in the face of threats from a weak global economy, persistently low inflation and unstable financial markets.

Wrapping up a closely watched meeting, Fed officials say that while the U.S. job market is solid, recent global developments may "restrain economic activity" and further drag down already low inflation.

Signs of a sharp slowdown in China have intensified fear among investors about the U.S. and global economy. And low oil prices and a high-priced dollar have kept inflation undesirably muted.

Before year's end, many analysts still expect the Fed to raise its key short-term rate, which it's kept near zero since 2008. A higher Fed rate would eventually send rates up on many consumer and business loans.

Just bought a new laptop off tiger direct.com yesterday. The one i bought seemed like a good deal. Anyone have thoughts whether is is a decent one for the money? It has a 5th gen intel I5 chip in it so i thought it was a decent buy. tia.

So... Apparently the great "News" that toyota and siriusxm have signed a new deal has failed to move the stock much... Well maybe after the fed announcement it'll gain some traction... Oh wait, uh, never mind. Well anyway there's always the next earning announcement cause, you know it did so well after reporting stellar numbers last quarter... Oh wait, never mind.......well, uh, they, uh are gonna have exclusive programming celebrating Hispanic Heritage month starting this weekend. Bet that' jump start this stock! GO SPURS, GO.... uh wait... I mean GO SIRI, GO!!!

EDIT: This siri is the Brandon Matthews of the stock market.... Always just Almost There. Always just misunderstood or sabotaged, or just needs a little bit more time.... But when you walk away for weeks or months at a time and come back expecting at least some progress to have been made, you find it exactly where it was when you left it.... And people are spouting the same excuses and hoping for the same miracles that the did when you last looked in on things.
