@muscle... The FCC will approve the Charter-Time Warner merger. They have too after approving the AT&T and DirecTV deal. It make take several months but it will happen.

Thanks for the tips! I told my wife last night and she is ready to go. We are hoping to make it to Cleveland either for Thanksgiving or Christmas. It's much harder now with our daughter in school. We have much more time during Christmas and Summer to visit. I am going to ask my brother-in-law the name of the bar in Parma that sells the nerf ball size Gyro's. It's definitely an experience. He lives at the end of the Wolf av. by the cemetery.

Hey Midas - Your correct, I'm in Broadview Hts. which is between Brecksville & Parma. Southern suburb of Cleve. The West Side Market is an amazing place that words can't describe. As far as great food to eat in these parts have your family take you out for a perch & or walleye diner. In Cleve. the best for fresh perch right out of the lake is the Flat Iron Cafe on the East side of The Flats. 9 pieces of perch on a platter of fries with slaw for $15.00,none better. For the folks in Mentor, far east side on the lake try Pickle Bills. Their deal is all you can eat walleye or perch & for $4 you can add the other or prime rib. Cool place in Fairport Harbor.

@waldo... i see you lurking. Any thoughts on the overall market this week? I read the Barron's article about Apple and how they are predicting a 50% upside on the stock price. Apparently they like the iPhone Upgrade plan. This is not good for the telco's at all because that's how they lock in and control the customer. It's going to be interesting to see how they react to the news.

Goldman came out again with $20 barrel of oil. I get the feeling they are manipulating the oil market so they can make a ton of money when the global economy starts picking up again. Thoughts on that?

I could not agree more with this. I think the only reason the FCC allowed the AT&T and DirecTV is ex AT&T chairman needed a favor after taking over GM for Obama and his bailout team. I am sure he put in a call for AT&T for some help. This is good for the cable mergers. They've set the precedent now.

About time. Think it will go through with conditions. Malone never loses. Wheeler is the worst FCC chair since Reed Hundt. A new administration in 2017 should bring a more sensible FCC. Thank goodness Sirius got the XM merger through when Kevin Martin was chair. Never would have went through under Wheeler in my opinion.

Morning DM and All...yeah looking forward to todays action. First time in the last 10 ish years that I do not have the NFL Sunday Ticket. Don't get to check out as much action as I used to when I could watch 10 straight hours of football on Sundays. It's going to be a bit different but I'll still get to watch the Boys and Texans every week in addition to the game of the week and Sunday nights.....come to think of it...that should be enough quell the cravings...How Bout Them Cowboys!!

Muscle is a different breed thats for sure. Here is the thing....if the midas's/muscles of the forum want to claim someone here is hedy or bm or whoever....step up and prove it. Its that easy guys...you want to make claims...back that shit up...Enuff said!

Denco...i love watching DAL/NYG play....they absolutely hate each other...or at least thats the feeling i get. Thats what makes that game so special! Should be a good one....you guys are fav by about a td. Good luck man.
