I do not change every 2 seconds, I have always been a swing or momentum trader. Some of my trades go wrong. SIRI being one of them. I got caught with SIRI when XM shares were converted and I was hedged... I though I'd keep the stock but then I sold it just to get back in at the wrong time. I decided to keep the stock for a while and then I bumped into this web site when I was looking for some information... I like arguing with you all more than the damn SIRI, that is why I have kept the 3200 shares... Although I could have sold them and keep arguing with you all, right ? That was dumb on my part...

Ps: I am not going to sell them now that the stock is trading at 12 cents... unless there's a chance of short selling with my other broker.

    Tripp is right!!

    Newman,

Accumualtion with no specific sell stratigy is called INVESTING. It's the flipping swing traders like SO that caused oil to move to $147 which put us on the path to BK the world and send all our $ to the people who hate us!!!! I for one like to speculate hence 300,000 shares, however I am not a fan of trading as I believe this is the cause to most of the current problems i.e. oil, wall st greed, G f'in S, etc. I think we should bring back the trading in 1/8th vs penny's to get the SO's of the world OUT of the mkt!!!!!! WE NEED MORE PRICE STABILTY and true INVESTORS like TRIPP not the SO's and GS's of the world that are simply in for the quick buck and do NOTHING to add value!!

    Siriusowner,

Why not ust stgy'd like IRON CONDORS, CREDIT SPREADS, BUTTERFLY SPREADS? Act like an insurance company you have probabilty on your side and you actually add value vs trying to simply play the big MO?

Weird, I thought that knowing when to sell was as important as knwoing when to buy. Even for long term investing.

I also can not read your post. I do have some neutral options spreads if that is what you were asking. At the moment I do not have any bull or bear option credit or debit spreads. I am short on SIRI $2.5 and $5.00 Jan 2010 option calls.
