anyway about moody's, it's kind of ironic that one week they're upgrading siri,
yet in a few weeks, they might be downgrading the whole country

Sorry to make you repeat yourself but was it you or Wolf that verified you could sell the stock Friday morning and still get the dividend?

I can't wait for the dividend, after watching siri almost go bankrupt (supposedly) to now getting a dividend!

No prob ABC-
According to my Etrade broker in order to get dividend you need to hold into todays close going into tomorrow. At any point tomorrow or there after you can sell the stock but will receive the dividend.

I wonder if Liberty trades at all down tomorrow since Sirius will and their market cap is majority Siri, but what could negate it is that they will get paid a hefty dividend

Wondering how many folks saw the Sandy benefit concert last night? Really great show. Maybe some of those taxable dividends that some are concerned about might go towards helping the needy around this country. That would help offset the Cap gains. I know many have already donated to Mr. Hillbilly's Coat Angels but I just checked and it hasn't moved much lately. Please consider helping those less fortunate. Have a great day.

Am I alone or did we all get routed from SWP to the new BJM site this morning with no clue over there as to what comes next? Anyway, over there I somehow located a "Registration" button where I executed that process (again, for the third time), and received a message that once I receive my "authentication" email I will be able to log on to the forum. I can hardly wait.
