Internal Antenna Quit SL2
SL2 works perfect docked or with antenna headphones but will not acquire satellite signal on its own. It did up until recently. Did a setting somehow get changed? Could something internally have been broken? I use this when riding on my motorcycle. All I have now is a over-priced MP3 player. Please help.

It's tough to tell sometimes exactly what is wrong with these units. So no matter where you go portably, you get no signal at all?
Outside standing under a clear sky, nothing. In the car dock or with the antenna headphones, strong signal. I'm wondering if it isn't a break somewhere on the circuit board. I've read some posts in here to that effect. I wonder if that's what it is can it be fixed.
I know that the repair guy that we use won't be able to fix it. They are too small once you open them up and are hard to resolder by hand.
