Are you sure your figures are right about the present Horizon spill? They just upgraded the amount leaking to something approaching 60,000 barrels a day or up to 2.5 million gallons a day. I think i might wait till i put a final total on the amount until we are through with this event.

My points were very simple. Its not just the oil on shore that is drawing concern, its also the giant plumes underwater and oil dispersed in the ocean thats is killing our wildlife and fish. We are America and we care about these things. At least some of us do.

According to the latest estimates the Gulf Spill leak has been as much as 118.4 gallons of oil as of today. That makes this the third worst spill in history. And before it's all over, it will more than likely be the worst in history.

And that damn Obama just got BP to cancel the dividend for the next year and pledge at least 20 billion dollars for clean up of the Gulf. Heck Havakasha, BP even agreed to set up a hundred million dollar fund to help those oil drillers while they are banned from doing anymore damage to our off shore waters.
