Actually we are ahead in many areas of the technology but in serious danger of falling behind in the future. Read the article i posted; Red China, Green China.Its not just cheap labor (though its a huge part of it) its also amount of investment. And i am not just talking solar. For example the Chinese are investing over 300 billion dollars in high speed rail. They are going to build a high speed rail system that will connect all the major regions of the country.Its going to help their economy tremendously over the long term.
They are spending the money thats necessary to take over the clean energy industry. At least Obama recognizes that and is trying to do something about it. The problem is that its hards to spend money when you dont have it. The more serious problem is we HAVE TO MAKE THESE INVESTMENTS to compete in the future.
P.S. China has solar companies that build panels in this country so i assume they pass all the testing standards.

Hey, thanks for the link. I had no idea what the heck he was talking about. I'm still a little confused. I'll have to figure out what a "statist" is. Sometimes these terms that get thrown around are not a part of our so called normal English.

But when he wont read an article that clearly states what China's investment and committment for the future is in Clean energy and continues to ignore the facts about where the world is headed in the area of hybrid and electric vehicles, that my friend goes way beyond passion into distortion, ignorance and a few other choice words.\
I have no problem with a passionate belief. But i have a problem with labels because i could argue many of my believes are more Conservative then his. And I HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM WITH WORDS THAT ARE INSULTING AND HATEFUL. Absolutely no reason for thenm. And people ALWAYS have to be called on them.
I have made it clear from the beginning I am retired. I did own several companies, "TNT Rentals", "TCS Design and Development", "Scoops N More Inc". I do not know if the buyers are still using or used the same names or not or if they just just bought it for the assets ( I did here that one of the ice cream shops was being used as a Tye restuarant). For the first two I had put to work several other companies and sub contractors, Buliding homes puts many to work, from the people that survey the land to people that make and bring the concrete to the concrete finishers to rough carpenters to the finish carpenters to the people that make the dry wall to the ones that then hang and finish the dry wall to the people that make the flooring to the ones that install it. to the ones that make the roofing to the ones that do the roofing to the ones that make the cabinets to the finish carpenter that hang them (already mentioned (finish carpenters, any finish carpenter can hang capnets there are just a few that can do stair hand rails) to the eletrical, plumbing, and heating (the same company does both rough and finish). The list gos on and on but I think you get the point. Scoops N' More (except for the suppliers) had several dozens of people working most were kids though and were seasonal/part time (noone manages a mostly cash business better then yourself or family).
P.S. Dumbshit I am no longer in bussiness, but anyone that is, knows you do not make it blantantly known what political ideology you have. IT TENDS TO ALEINATE PEOPLE THAT WOULD HAVE COME TO YOUR BUSSINESS. Dumbass have you ever wondered why it is very rear to see a bussiness with a political sign in front of it.
