Hey Big Ben you Bear. I posted in the market watch forum. I was "taking profit" and a nice wad of cash, then became weak and bought in to TCK which has since gotten ****ing clobbered. I also bought SPXU and would be sitting pretty on that but took my profit a little too early.

I'm not ready to call this the end of the earth, but feel we are in a medium term bear market. Companies are making money. This is good. This will be a decisive point going forward. If company earnings start taking a hit, we could see it all over again.

Glad to see SIRI bouncing back along with the entire market.

Human error caused plunge to be worse the it was supposed to be.

Ben.... Damn if it was headed to .82 right after my post. Ha.......hope you bought a few while we were down there and made some money You were actually right for about 15 minutes..... the sky did fall.

No, No, lets remember his buy price was .82 it has yet to get that low. Here is what Big Ben actually said:

"Next siri purchase for me will be around .82 level...the stock seems to hit resistance there. I hope some of the twits and dumb asses on here were smart enough to cash some in 1.2 range, somehow I don't believe they did. Good luck today"


Maybe I should put that in a qoute so he doesn't go back and erase it. I trust him enough not to be a twit and to something like that though, right candelman.

That was a fun ride today. There was a lot of money made on trading SIRI today for anyone that had the time to watch the market and get in on the dip.

It was very important in my opinion that we didn't close below a buck.

Thanks for the link Lloyd. That's a very interesting idea. It will be good to follow the story and see if that's what really happened.

P.S. My post (#82) does not mean that we will not take another dive in the markets though.
